They're tough, extremely lightweight, fold into themselves for easy transport, and are a good sized rucksack when open. Plenty of storage space. I use them as internal travel bags within my Triumph 1200 motorbike's aluminium panniers. They are a perfect fit, leaving just a little space for odd little extras like tools etc., and mean it's easy to grab the bags when the day's riding is done. I'm sure others could find a myriad of uses for these bags. I'm hoping that the quality and standards haven't slipped! I took my original one on every holiday or trip and also lent it to a friend who was travelling India, Sri Lanka and Cuba. She said it was fantastic too. It is so lightweight but can hold so much. I would ram it full of clothes, shoes, toiletries, books and a hairdryer. It also coped with my weekly shop, so it had a huge amount of use. It also packs up very small when not in use. I only had to buy this new one because finally, one of the straps frayed and snapped.
