Going on year 2 of use. Great tool!! Heats up fast, works great, smooths and straightens some of the curliest and fly-away hair ever!! I have long and thick hair and can straighten it in less than 15 minutes! It's awesome!

I bought the TYMO Hair Straightener Brush about 3 years ago when I was fully in my “pin straight hair every day or I feel unfinished” era. You know that phase where you suddenly decide your natural texture is great… but straight hair still feels like the main character look? Yeah, that one. At the time, I wanted something easier than a traditional flat iron. I’ve used plenty of those over the years, but I always found myself doing the slow clamp-and-glide routine that somehow takes longer than it should and still leaves me wondering if I missed a section in the back. This brush felt like a shortcut in the best way. Instead of flat plates, it works like a heated comb, so I could literally just brush through my hair and watch it smooth out as I went. It made the whole process feel less like styling and more like… brushing my hair, but upgraded. The dense bristles actually grab a decent amount of hair, so I wasn’t going over the same section a hundred times. It heats up pretty quickly, and the temperature range is solid. I usually found a setting that worked for my hair type without feeling like I had to crank it to the highest level just to see results. It also has that ionic + ceramic thing going on, and while I don’t overthink the science of it, I do notice less frizz and more shine compared to some older tools I’ve used. What really impressed me over time is reliability. I used this almost daily for close to 2 years, and it never gave me issues turning on or heating up properly. No weird glitches, no fading performance—just consistent use, which is honestly what matters most with hot tools. It also saves time. Once you get the motion down, it really does cut down the morning styling routine. It’s not a “perfect salon blowout in 5 minutes” fantasy, but it absolutely makes straightening faster and less effort-heavy than a traditional flat iron. Now I’ve kind of rotated back into my curly hair era, so it doesn’t get daily use anymore. But I still reach for it anytime I want a straight hair day without committing to a whole styling session. And every time, it still delivers exactly what I need. If I had one gentle note, it’s that like most brush-style straighteners, technique matters a bit. You can’t rush it or it won’t smooth as evenly—but once you figure out your rhythm, it becomes really easy to use. At around $60, it felt like a worthwhile investment for how much use I got out of it, especially during the years I was reaching for it constantly. Overall, it’s one of those tools that quietly earns its place in your routine and just keeps showing up when you need it.

Works well, hand fits around handle without messing with control buttons. I had a different brush years ago that when I held it my hand fit just where the buttons were and kept turning it off. This TYMO brush is good. Heats quickly and my very naturally curly hair is board straight after using this brush. Takes several passes per section but my hair is soft, straight and shiny after using. I'm happy.

Love how easy this is to use. I still have to pass through with a straightener at the end for shine and extra flatness but I love the quality of the end result and it’s so safe hard to burn your scalp. It also saves me so much time. Such good value for money. The two major improvements would be to make this easier to clean and have a wireless option to make it easier to travel with.

This is my first straightener brush and I am hooked! The straightener heats up scary fast, which I like that I can just turn it on and get started quickly. I have thick, wavy to curly hair texture, so I was curious if this would actually work for me. I was able to complete straightening my hair in 25 minutes, and i did my 6yo daughter's hair in about 15 minutes. I normally have to spend about an hour on each of us so this is amazing! My favorite thing about this straightener is that you can straighten bigger sections at a time and still cover more hair than just using a flat iron. I will note that for me, one overhand pass is enough, but I went one more pass underhand to add more volume and a little bump at the ends. Fabulous! In my opinion, this purchase was well worth the money and saves me a bunch of time. It's very easy to use, and if the manual isn't helpful enough, there are plenty videos on YouTube for visual reference. One more thing that I like is that it gets hot within the bristles and I found that i was able to get very close to the root without burning. Iwould suggest to wear a glove if your hair retains heat, though mine didn't come with one. Overall, if you're anything like me and don't like to spend a long time on straightening your hair, this is definitely a good buy.

I’m honestly so impressed with the TYMO Hair Straightener Brush. I have thick, wavy hair and this thing works fast—it cuts my styling time down so much. It glides through my hair easily and leaves it smooth without that overly flat look. I’ve tried it on both wet and dry hair, and while it does work on damp hair, I definitely get the best results using it on dry hair. It also has multiple temperature settings, which is great for different hair types and lets you customize the heat depending on what your hair needs. It does get hot enough to really do the job, but I love that it’s designed to be safe to the touch—unlike other straighteners I’ve used, I don’t feel like I’m going to burn myself while styling. My only regret is not buying it sooner—this has quickly become a go-to in my routine. Highly recommend if you have thicker hair and want something quick and easy that actually delivers.

Great straightening brush! It heats up fast, is easy to use, and leaves my hair smooth and frizz-free in minutes. Much quicker than a flat iron. Highly recommend!

I am not a Bot when I say this but This actually works really well, and gets super hot too without hurting you, only the obvious heat from your own hair. The instructions will also tell you what temperature for your hair type, and it’s adjust well and does save the settings you have on it. Also it’s kind of cute not gonna lie. (IN THE VIDEO: I had already blow dry my hair and got it ready to iron out that’s why it’s kind of fuzzy eith some curls cause I also tied it in two twist.)
