Well it worked great I had a feeling a gas pipe in the wall exactly where i thought it said yep. So in one use it paid for itself I’d say. Played with it all over the walls found old pictures pin nails and stuff. Very sensitive. It picks up metal / wood at about 100mm away then using the three lights you then can narrow it to a pin point ? It’s good worth the purchase. Worthwhile purchase

Used to test it works and at initial testing it did. I put it against my internal stud wall and it was able to pick that up. Also tested it near some socket cabling I knew was located in that area from installation and it picked this up. Cannot complain thus far but have not had to use it for a project yet.

Not particularly good and poor at finding studs. Buy a proper tool Ryobi or another premium product

Very handy tool! The stud finder is accurate for detecting wood, metal, and live wires. The depth tracker works well and the display is clear. Compact and easy to use, perfect for DIY jobs around the house. Helps avoid drilling into cables or pipes. Great value for the price!

Functionally useless. It is overly sensitive and constantly has false positive readings. I tested it on an internal door and it said that there were live AC wires throughout the entirety of a door. TLDR: Don’t buy. You can be overly cautious of live wires without wasting money buying this.
