Installation isn't the problem
For the love of all that's holy, if you value your phone and your sanity even a little, DO NOT BUY THIS HOT STEAMING GARBAGE! I bought this screen protector for my S23 Ultra mainly for the lack of the ugly fingerprint circle that most others have. I read the other reviews and weighed the negatives vs the positives. Based on most negative reviews, I figured that installation and bubbles would be the biggest issue. Nope. Watched the video, followed directions, and had no problems. So I chalked the negative reviews up to people not following directions and figured I got a great screen protector and went on about my life. For about a week. The only real complaint I had was that my screen wasn't as responsive in some areas, especially around the edges. I even had touch sensitivity turned up. Then my phone fell about 3 feet off the bed onto carpet. Imagine my surprise when I picked it up and there was a straight crack down the entire length of the protector. I figured it as a fluke and thought "oh well, I got a 2 pack so I'll replace it." This is when the fun began. I used the little blue lifter tool that came with the kit, and geeeeently started removing the old protector by lifting at a corner. It started coming off easily just like the thousands of other glass protectors I've used on previous phones. Then, CRACK! The protector shattered across the entire surface and sent tiny microscopic fragments of glass flying. Some hit me in the face, so I had to grab some glasses for fear of getting hit in the eyes. I've actually become a great fan of my vision in 30+ years, so I was hoping to keep it. Every time I tried to lift a section, another part would crack, so I had to take it off in pieces. 20 minutes in, the only part left was right in the middle of the screen. The 2 inch portion of cracked glass had made the center of my phone's screen its home and had no plans of leaving. It took another 20 minutes, 5 different tools that wouldn't scratch my screen more, 3 glass splinters,1 cut, millions of glass shards all over my countertop, and 50 swear words for it to finally release its death grip. Once I finally cleaned the leftover residue, I could see that my brand new phone is covered with scratches all over the screen. Good luck trying to reach out to the seller, they don't care that you religiously followed all of their directions, it's still clearly your fault that their product damaged a brand new $2000 phone.

Best Screen protector for this type of screen
This is a long overdue review and I'm seeing now that it's currently unavailable. I'm really hoping that's not the case for long because this really is the best screen protector I've seen for my phone. I was so happy with this, i bought 2 more just to have in stock and I have one to my boyfriend after he got the same phone. Why did I pick this product?: Every other screen protector for the Samsung S23 Ultra has that weird fingerprint circle on it. This one also has no hole for the front camera which I love, because sometimes dust can build up in camera hole and it could be hard to clean. This also ensures the camera glass doesnt crack. It also seems amazon sometimes mixes up reviews because during my search there would be positive reviews for other things under a screen protector listing, or negative reviews for a screen protector that looks nothing like the listing shows, making the ratings weird to read. That seemed to be the case for this listing, so i was hesitant at first. But I took a chance because it was on sale and there was no other protector out there that didn't have the fingerprint circle. PLUS this one came with an installation kit. Coverage: I use this with a case. As it is a curved screen, there is no case that can fully protect the screen, unless you get one of those boxy cases with a built in screen. This protector gives me some assurance that I will never have to pay to get my screen replaced. It covers the screen completely with a little but if space above where the camera is, but barely any. Protection: I dropped my phone once when i was getting out of the car. I had my phone on my lap and didn't realize until I got out and my phone slid off my lap and onto the concrete. The screen cracked but not very much- just on the side that hit the floor. Application: The application kit was SOOO useful. It helped me make sure the screen was properly aligned. This is my first time having a phone with a curved screen like this. My super old LGV20 has a very slightly curved side, but it was just the glass on the front and the actual phone screen didn't reach it. Anyway, I was nervous to get it aligned with the curves, but it was a breeze with the kit. I didn't install the camera protectors on my phone since I bought separate camera protectors, but I did on my boyfriends phone. It was very easy to line up and press down. Removal: I was worried about removing the protector since some reviews said the screen was hard to remove and left a bunch of adhesive on the screen. I did not have that problem at all. It removed with ease and took all the glass pieces from when i dropped my phone with it. It left no residue on my screen at all. Same with the camera protector. My boyfriend has yet to get a case, and he dropped his phone leaving some cracks on the camera protector. The cameras were just fine. I used the prying tool to easily remove the protector and left no residue. I applied a new one super easily. Overall: i really hope they start selling this again because i would have stocked up more if I knew they were going to be unavailable. I'm glad I took a chance despite the bad reviews.

Am used to this type of screen protector installation, have done it multiple times in the past on previous phones with no issues... upgraded my phone so needed to pick one up, and this was the only one I could find that was a simple installation without a fingerprint circle. Figured the bad reviews were from people who weren't being precise with their installation... but no the reviews are warranted. My first attempt, everything went smoothly, had no bubbles whatsoever. Then after several minutes, bubbles just started appearing on the screen, with one of the corners completely coming up no matter how much I held it down. Not acceptable for me so I removed it and tried again thinking it was my fault. Second attempt, I go through the process of cleaning it and getting it ready, and the same thing happened with the same top right corner refusing to stay stuck down. To note the top-right corner is the one that has the green pull tab for the protective layer, and on my second attempt I noticed the glue almost detached from the screen when pulling it off so this was surely the reason why I was having this issue? Overall seems like there is problems with the adhesive being used. Can't comment on whether the screen protector is durable as I only had it on for about ten minutes. Don't recommend.

He visto varias veces el video. Suerte.

Overall thoughts : This is a tic more complicated to apply than other screen protectors, even compared to expensive liquid + uv light applications. However, this is a superior product in terms of price and overall installation. If you screw up, you might, it will not cost you much to get another set to reapply. 20$ AUD? Done, I'm in. Approximately 1/5 the cost of more expensive products. Just take your time, do it right. My first application wasn't the greatest. My mistake, touched adhesive with the plastic tool which affected the adhering of the corner. Is what it is, but not unhappy. Recommendations: 1. Watch the video, at least 2-3 times. 2. Watch the pressure you apply in certain instances of application. 3. Go slow! Take your time! Update : Application one, I messed up. Had my tool touch the adhesive on the inside, which created a weak point in the corner, resulting in the first screen protector to start lifting up on one side then was useless. Update 2: Application 2 did a better job, but as you can see, there are gaps and bubbles. No dust particles, but still not great. Updated thoughts : I think it's a good attempt at a product, but some skill, patience, and finesse are required for a good application. It is very finicky. If the adhesive is disrupted, then it will affect the adherence to the screen. Going to look for an alternative product. I will say, the rear screen protector is fantastic though Update #3 - started lifting again on the front. Replaced with a different third party screen protector. Recommend them instead of this one.
