Very good mix of colours purchased for using on a gel plate. Small tubes but vary varied and made for a good expiremental day creating. Consistency was very nice. Excellent value for money

This was bought for a friend who loves to produce art. She said they are amazing and give her such a variety of colours. They come in a container which is easy to pack away when she has finished for the evening. Paint goes down very easily. She was over the moon with them.

I'm a beginner...I've painted at school and created what I loosely call art works using paint pens and now nearing retirement and amazed at the quality of paintings both my Wife and Daughter turn out I was convinced to give it a go. Acrylics were recommended for me and armed with a "paint to numbers" canvas, well we must start somewhere, I bought this set. Now to be honest the paint by numbers set was old and the supplied paints had dried to rubber! I borrowed some paints from Wife/Daughter but this gave me 2 problems..the first was mixing the colours to match the colour template (numbered paint pots in the kit) and the 2nd was my frustration at attempting to cover the printed numbers on my canvas as the borrowed paints were not dense enough to hide numbers unless I did multi layers of paint, mixing again to match the original colour I'd created. As a beginner I was frustrated by all the mixing and layer after layer of paint and felt my canvas would never be completed...I started to lose interest! A beginner with only the internet to give me ideas on which paint manufacturer to use the Meeden set, with an Amazon discount applied, came top of my list. 100 colours and my paint by numbers only needs 1 to 20! The proof that I made a good choice in buying these came after I'd matched colours and numbered the tubes 1 to 20 to match the canvas numbering guide...I had no problem covering the printed numbers on the canvas and yet the paint also spread naturally without layering it up and I felt I was progressing much quicker with my "artwork". My enthusiasm was back and my artwork is still progressing well. I therefore, on my limited experience, recommend the Meeden brand and I'm now looking at acquiring new paint brushes and a mixing pallette from the same manufacturer.

The paints look absolutely lovely, great array of colours, small tubes, yet to use them.

Used to complete paint by numbers where paints had dried up. Easy to match colours needed, lovely paint to work with.

Love the creamy consistency

Get a lot for your money, don’t buy oils use these instead or even use as water colours.
