This is the best case out there!! I purchased probably 4 different cases (even the blade series) and this Mumba slim case passed the test! I needed a slim case to protect, fit my hand and enhance the grip, slim enough to fit inside a carrying case, and possibly fit into the Switch slot. Somehow it almost fit all of my prerequisites. First off, compared to all other cases out there, Mumba has top notch quality cases. It is very durable and confident if I were to drop my Switch, it would be protected! I was worried about the grip, using the joycon grips itself hurts my wrists after a while. But using this case, it somehow enhances it and relieves any discomfort. I own the Tomtoc Carrying Case and it fits snuggly in the case while still being able to carry game cards, a charger, and a joycon comfort grips. I like that its pretty easy to take off. With hands on the grips as if you were gaming, I move my thumbs to the top of the case right above the screen and push off the case, its that easy. Unfortunately, the only thing it can’t do is be seated into the Switch dock, which isn’t a heart breaker. In the end, I recommend this product! No wonder why it’s a high rated item!! Don’t pass it up!!

3 month update: - Drop test has been done by my toddler a few times, and it has come out without a scratch. - Taking it off is not a hassle if you follow the directions. Taking it off has not caused any kind of damage to my switch. - The plastic back is surprisingly very scratch resistant, and the rubber is still perfect. This console is used daily. - Very little dust and debris get through the case. - Very easy to clean if need be. Just rinse with some water and let it dry, or dry it off on your own. - My toddler can hold it just fine. - I have small/medium hands, and still no cramping. - A screen protector will work with this case on if it is applied properly. We have a gorilla glass type protector, and it doesn't rub against it. - It has fit in a regular size travel case. I still plan on getting the Mumba Travel Case. - I absolutely love this case, I recommend it to everyone if they are looking for great protection. I can't say enough good things about this case. It is absolutely the best purchase (accessory wise) that I've made for my switch. My first review: I watched many YouTube reviews about Nintendo Switch cases before I settled on this one. I am so glad I did. It is a very sturdy case, and the grip on the back is awesome. Unlike other people, I don't get hand cramps holding it in handheld mode. This case does add some extra comfort which is great. I was looking for something "toddler proof" and this is perfect. The cut outs are great, one of them is a tab bit off center, but it's hardly noticeable. There is no cutout for the kickstand, so if that is a must on your list, this isn't the case for you. I for one, hardly use the kickstand so it being covered is fine with me. I have yet to take it off. I know people are having problems with taking it off, but I followed the directions putting it on. I'm sure if I follow the directions taking it off, I'll have no problems. The case does add some weight, but it is a very protective case. Most good, protective cases will add a bit of weight. I figured it would add some when I bought it, and honestly, it hasn't bothered me a bit. It has yet to be drop tested, but I'm sure it will prove that it is protective once the inevitable happens. As of right now, I have nothing but good things to say about this case. I can't wait to purchase the Mumba Hardshell Carrying Case for the Switch.

I’m writing this review because I searched and searched and couldn’t find anything that mentioned a fix for controllers that constantly because disconnected. My son has dropped his switch a bunch of times and now his controllers all disconnect mid game and he has to resnap them in place to continue playing. If you know, you know. So I figured a hard structured case like this would help keep his controllers from coming loose. This is just the fix we needed! It’s easy to snap the switch into place, and it’s super sturdy and solid. It’s rugged enough to keep the switch safe from future drops. It has a nice snug fit. If you use the little kick stand on the back, you can’t access it with the case, but our broke off long ago so that’s a non issue for us. I love this little case because there’s nothing worse than being mid battle and having your controllers disconnect while fighting a lizalfos. 5 stars. I hope this helps someone who has the same issue because this is what I needed to know!

This case feels great in the hands & has helped with my hand cramps during longer gaming sessions. The fit is good & I feel that my Nintendo Switch is protected. Overall, very satisfied with my purchase.

Great durable and sturdy case. Feels good and comfortable to hold for long gaming sessions in the hands of Adults. Only complaints is that it doesn't let you access the kickstand and the game cartridge slot is way too tight of A space. I usually have to take the case off to change games, but other than those minor inconveniences this case is great

I like to play my switch in portable mode so I really wanted to find a case that would protect it but I also wanted one that looked cute of course. I spend literally days scrolling through Amazon, Gamestop, Etsy, Youtube trying to find something I liked. Cases for the switch were either super expensive, not protective at all or looked like something you would put a little kids IPad in (those extremely bulky bright colored ugly cases). When I saw this case I fell in love, it looked so pretty. I had heard of this brand before and everyone has said nothing but good things about the original version (the solid black one) so I decided to buy it. The quality is amazing, it feels so nice and it has little bumps/grips on the joycon area so it makes it easier to hold when u play in portable mode. You can slide the joycons in and out easily while the screen part is still in the case. Its so durable and feels so expensive it's crazy. You can't put the switch on the dock when the case is on which I wasn't looking for a dockable case anyways but just a FYI. But you can take the case off SO EASILY, like it snaps right off. It's so easy that I have done it with one hand a few times. The case has a hole where the charging port is so u can charge it without having to dock it or take the case off (Think of it like how u can charge an IPhone with an otterbox case.) I have had this case for almost a month now and there is no signs of wear, its still so glossy and beautiful. I unfortunately have dropped my switch twice but both times it was completely fine, no screen crack or anything! I have had two of my friends buy this same case after they saw and used mine and one of them had a Geekshare case so thats saying something. I can't tell u enough how much I love this case, its the best thing I have bought for my switch hands down. If ur a portable switch player and want a cute but not childish looking case u need to get this one.

This is the best accessory I've purchased for the Switch. Bar none. It makes it easier to hold. It's much more comfortable. The Switch is also better looking in the case. I don't know what's wrong with some of the other reviewers, but this case is a cinch to put on and take off. It couldn't be easier. It's also very easy to change game cards with the case on. Clearly some reviewers don't know how to open the game card door all the way. Don't listen to these reviews. They're simply wrong. As for charging in the dock, of course you can't do it with this case on. That's just common sense. The dock was designed to hold the Switch console as is. That's just a ridiculous gripe. You can still charge it in the case using the A/C adapter. Someone even complained about the inability to attach a wrist strap and the danger of dropping it. First, if you can't hold onto something without it being attached to you, that's not the manufacturer's fault. Second, and more importantly, there IS a place to attach a lanyard or wrist strap. It's on the bottom right corner. Another invalid complaint. I'm the type of person who complains and finds something wrong with everything, but I couldn't be happier with this purchase. There are countless things I'm disappointed about with the Switch, and the discomfort was a big one. Nintendo should be thanking this company, because just the addition of this grip made me have a MUCH more positive outlook toward the Switch. If you have any issues with comfort, while playing in console mode, get this grip. It will be the best money you ever spent. If I had to change one thing, since I can never be completely happy, it would be the clear back. While I understand it was designed for aesthetics, the slick plastic is different than the rest of the material and you can feel it while your holding it. Slightly. Maybe all that's needed is to make it a little smaller, so your fingers don't touch it. This is such a trivial thing, I shouldn't even mention it, but like I said earlier, I have to find something to complain about. While we're on the subject of material, maybe I'd make it a little more grippy. It's a tad slick. Just slightly. OK, so 2 things, but neither affects my love of this accessory. Buy this case. You will not be disappointed.

I recently purchased a Nintendo Switch and I wanted a case that would protect my Switch in case I accidentally dropped it. Not only that, I was scared of my Switch getting scuff marks and scratches. I found this case to quite suit my needs. I purchased a screen protector seperateley and the case does not interfere with the edges of the screen protector at all. The case fits very snug and it is made out of quality material. This case will not fit while docked, but it’s very simple to put on and take off. The charging port and the game slot are easily accessible, but the kickstand in the back will be covered and you will not have access to it while the case is on, but that doesn’t bother me at all. I feel very safe when I take my Switch out of the house with this case on. I only have one game at the moment but I think further down the line I may purchase a slimmer case that can be used while docked, just to make it faster for me to switch from docked to portable mode, but that’s only my personal preference. I know there are hardcore enthusiasts who only use their Switch in portable mode and then others who only have their Switch in docked mode. Of course this case is for those who mainly use it in portable mode, which I find myself playing 50% of the time. So I recommend this case for anyone who constantly plays in portable mode and uses their Switch out of the house.

After failing to get hold of a Satisfye grip, and returning a couple of cheap, useless grips, I decided to go ahead and order this one. This was the best decision I have made, I love using this grip and it looks gorgeous. It feels very sturdy and the switch appears to be well protected. It’s not that cheap, thin plastic which I’ve found on others. It’s worth noting that it is very shiny/smooth on the back, so it will slip off your lap easily if you place it down (which nearly happened to me!). I have also found it much easier to remove the joy-cons before trying to remove the switch itself from the case - makes the whole process a lot easier and safer.

This grip case is gorgeous and makes gaming much more comfortable. I use my switch on my long commute to the office so I’m in handheld mode a lot. I also use my switch in the dock and this case is perfect for me. The grips are really nice and comfortable, and the glossy finish gives it a nice feel and it’s not slippery. I got the matching hard case and this fits in it nicely. I’m so happy there’s finally a beautiful looking grip case that performs well. No compromising here! The switch comes out easily for docking.
