It is a lovely object. well finished. I can not comment on use as it is intended as a gift.

Purtroppo l immagine mostrava un bento in legno scuro.. L ho acquistato fidandomi dell immagine.. Quello che mi è arrivato è un bento di tutt altro colore.. Un legno molto molto chiaro.. Non mi piace perché non è quello che volevo. Odore di verniciatura molto forte. Ma fosse stato questo il problema non me ne sarebbe importato.. Non è giusto che fate vedere un oggetto e poi quando ti arriva è di tutt altro colore proprio il colore opposto... L ho acquistato proprio perché lo volevo in legno scuro..

This box is beautiful- it feels nice and the lid fits snugly, secured by an elastic band. The compartment separator comes out, so you could have larger items or portions in there. I got this for my daughter who is autistic and has sensory issues - she says she can ‘taste’ plastic when she uses an ordinary lunch box. I removed a star for 2 reasons: 1. There are no instructions about washing - it doesn’t feel right to wash a wooden item, so I am cleaning it with a small amount of water and dish soap (not soaking it, wiping it), then drying it immediately. 2. The oval shape is lovely, but doesn’t lend itself well to being secured with elastic around the middle.

Looks as described, however mine came still strongly smelling of the vanish/stain used to treat the wood, whilst this doesn't ruin the product entirely it does require me to exert a little more effort as i will have to very scruitinous-ly scrub it in it's entirety before use. And even then it may require some airing time beforehand to finish whatever treatments have been applied. TL;DR: came strongly smelling of wood treatment chemicals; will be fine after extensive cleaning, comes as described and well packaged. 3/5 for my order experience 4.5/5 for the product itself.

The size is a bit small for me but it looks nice and the design is good
