How long does this take to dry please

I would say 24hrs typically, depending on environmental factors. Low odour after 24hrs but we preferred to leave for a couple of days to feel confident.

Is this safe to use in toddler room and mattress

Not sure here. After we sprayed, we left mattress off bed so as to ventilate and did not put to use for a couple of days. It was then OK for us two adults. I seem to remember ringing up supplier and obtaining re assurances. Perhaps that's the best thing to do, especially with a child in mind.

Can I spray it on my mattress in the morning, and just leave it to dry during the day, and in the evening put the mattress protector / sheets to sleep

I used it round the skirting boards to control silverfish in a very old house, it's amazing. Kills and prevents insects of all kinds for weeks if not months from one spray. I'd maybe spray a mattress then make sure it's dry before covering it up. Not sure I'd want it on my skin. Kills spiders on contact even weeks after spraying too. Maybe use a waterproof protector on the mattress once dry, so you can't come into contact with it. It's still a powerful insecticide.

How long should i stay out of the room after spraying this? Other sprays have said to stay out of the room after use but this one does not!

I have been using this product for a while and I do NOT stay out of the room after applying it to the mattress, it is not that strong. However, it is entirely up to yourself if you think it necessary.
