Total War: Shogun 2 - The Complete Collection (PC DVD)

A very good strategy game that will keep you busy!!!

A very elaborate and well detailed game with excellent graphics and game play but it requires a huge learning curve to play it successfully. There is SO much to remember about all the different troops, soldiers, armaments etc. I'm afraid I don't have the patience or time to play it very much now.

When package was delivered I opened up case to find a number of discs were not placed in case properly, disc 1&2 basically been left to rattle about inside case , went to install game and disc number 2 had many scratches on it and pc wont read the disc due to this , so couldnt install using the discs, had to rely on a steam product activation code ,besides being able to use through the activation code I am still very unhappy due to the fact you are paying for a product and it should be handled with care and checked before shipping etc !!!!

I've played most of this series of games from Total War, I don't think this is as good as the original Shogun, although I can't put my finger on what's wrong. I soon became bored with it.

Great game, been a long time since I played Total War so I've yet to win Shogunate of Japan. Every time I play I have different challenges and diplomacy is a big part of survival though be prepared to declare war!

Looks and plays beautifully. Extremely hard. Man you've got to be PM, Chancellor, MI6 chief, diplomat and army general at the same time. Fantastic. A tip: don't install from disc if you have Windows 10. Install Steam direct from website and then install game from Steam using the enclosed serial number or you may run into installation difficulties.

Great game, good for single player and not a great fan of steam but not problem with this game

Pretty graphics, but ultimately not good to play, might be the same AI as empire, which those that have played it, it's crap. Graphically you can see where all there work went, unfortunately they have neglected the actual gameplay and elements around that, text graphic, actual game, it is very linear, as with Empire, Rome 2, and now this one... won't be buying anymore of theirs, and if I can send this one back I will.

Quienes leéis mis reseñas sabréis que siempre soy honesto con mis reviews, esta no va a ser menos. Un auténtico derroche de imaginación y mecánicas. Muy buenos argumentos y muy buena recreación de los escenarios. Este juego tiene de las mejores configuraciones, sistemas de estratégicas y mecánicas de entre todos los total War que existen. Ya quisiera yo que mi vida funcionase al mismo ritmo que los turnos en este juego. Ya me gustaría a mí manejar mi vida con la proactividad y liderazgo que dirijo yo los clanes samurai, que desgraciado soy que en lugar de criar hijos desarrollo ejércitos virtuales que no existen y nadie le importa.

I was having trouble getting the base game on Steam because I had the Fall of the Samurai standalone dlc and for some stupid reason they share the same Steam page. Last year when they were giving away the base game for free the store page told me I already owned it. I thought this strange as I didn't remember getting the base game. Recently, a friend and I tried playing it to discover I didn't own the base game after all! CA had also recently raised the price of the game taking advantage of a surge in popularity due to a TV series. So, I looked around and found this dvd of the base game and all the dlc I didn't already own for less than what they're charging for the base game on Steam. I was a little worried that it might not install properly as some other reviewers had trouble and I already had one of the expansions installed. However, my fears were unnecessary the game installed fine off the dvds (though I got a windows warning saying they might not have). I activated the cd code on my Steam account, loaded up the game and it ran great!

L'ho acquistato perché in offerta con Total War Medieval 2 e poi al giocarlo mi sono appassionato. Ambientazione diversa da tanti altri giochi analoghi e ben fatto. Per me cinque stelle.

Davvero la CA ha rotto con questa cosa del rientrare nel rating 16, è inaccettabile ritrovarsi con uno strategico di guerra, come questo, e non avere sangue. Basterebbe un'opzione "si" o "no". Per il resto il gioco è davvero bello, a mio parere il migliore di tutta la serie
