At first I couldn't figure out how to pair with my headphones - but I just had to put my headphones in "pairing mode" which for sony wh-1000xm3 is by holding the power button for a few second. After that I was disappointed to find out how low the level of sound is - but it turned out I had to increase the volume from the headphones itself - the sony wh-1000xm3 have touch controls, and now they sound great. I'm tempted to leave one star review, so if you're like me and read only the negative reviews you would see this comment and know that "there is a way". I saw other buyers complaining that it worked only for short period and then it broke - I guess I'll have to test that. Overall I was looking for something small, simple and not very noticeable, that can fit in my headphones case, and I believe I found it. Jan2026 - update Just completed a 24+ journey from the States to Europe and the transmitter worked great . Battery held for over 13hrs flights. Didn't notice any delay in the sound. Admittedly didn't pay attention on the quality of the sound, as I don't expect Hi-fi sound in the plane, but I don't have any complains. My headphones connected immediately, without a problem. At first I panicked, as I couldn't hear anything, but I quickly realised I have to increase the volume from the headphones themselves. For my wh-1000xm3 - the right side of the headphones is touch sensitive and you can increase the volume from there.
