Leef iBridge 32GB - Black

Amazing product! Easy to use product increases the storage of my ipad. Like many other people, I decided to save some cash by choosing a lower memory ipad. Unfortunately, I found later that I couldn't store films on the ipad (one of the primary reasons I bought it), due to a lack of memory. The Leaf iBridge allows you to easily transfer films or documents to a USB stick-style (flash drive) instrument, by sticking it into your computer/laptop USB port. Then simply download the Leaf iBridge App and plug in to your ipad lightning port. The product and App are so easy to use! It also streams many film formats. I now use my ipad to watch films using the Leaf iBridge. Overall a very impressive product and great value for money!

Brilliant product, fantastic app on iOS and fulfills every expectation. Being one of the first of its kind means that yes of course there is is room for improvement but these would small enhancements rather than big changes. On a PC it acts as a standard USB stick but USB 2 is old hat now and rather slow. We wowed about it 10 years ago but have been spoilt by the superior speeds of USB 3 and SSD Drives. So my first improvement would be a USB 3 interface to improve speed when interacting with a PC. The iOS app is fantastic with easy to navigate menus and when the ibridge is inserted extra menus and a file management system for folder view and organisation. I would like to see this file management system available whether the ibridge device is connected or not as the app can hold files but you can only see the folder view when the device is inserted. The ibridge fits the iPhone and iPad even with my cases on both. This is a highly recommended device and a USB 3 version would be indispensable.

This is a great device, iOS devices have been long overdue an expandable storage device and this works really well, the app is really good to as you can copy documents to different apps or just store them within the ibridge app. I only have two criticisms, if the device is connected to my iPad mini first gen it can feel a little loose and any pressure applied can nudge it enough so that the app reloads - which isn't great if your watching a movie. My other criticism is the pdf viewer in the app. You should have more view options for reading pdf's documents

This is a super gadget for my purposes, taking photos on my iPhone to transfer later to my iPad and/or desktop later. It is simple to set up in just a few minutes on all devices and works flawlessly and effortlessly in practice. If you want, you can back up all your photos on the Leef Bridge, thereby making more space available to take more photos on your phone. You can also copy photos from Leef Bridge to your Camera Library for editing. A bit pricey, but the instant transfer facility is worth it for me. I have tried Drop Copy and other Bluetooth wireless transfer apps , but they can be somewhat tiresome, tedious and unpredictable, particularly if your router connection is as variablle as mine. I thoroughly recommend the Leef Bridge if you want a 100% guaranteed transfer and storage facility.

Works well but if you plug it straight into your phone as I did; all I could transfer were photos and only ones in my camera roll. You need to go via iTunes I believe to initially load up all the non photo content. Not as versatile as I thought it would be from the description if I'm honest but leef's tech support is good and I got a reply to my email within the hour about transferring other files. Seeing as I primarily wanted it for photos, as I have tons on my phone, it's done that job admirably. I now have a near empty phone photo wise but instant access to them if needed and printing said photos is easier as I can just stick the USB side into my laptop and upload them to the printing service I use. Design wise I do question the curved style as it could get damaged but I hope they wouldve tested it against such things prior to release. A flat device would've been better in my opinion though.

Excellent product. Works seamlessly with iPad Air 2, iPhone, Macbook and Windows. Was a bit disappointed to find out that video couldn't be recorded directly to the iBridge; only photo taking, however I contacted the support team asking about this and they told me that "Video recording directly to the iBridge will be available in the next update of the app, in the next 30 days or so", so was happy with that. Solidly built and plays most movie formats straight from the iBridge. Any iOS user, who knows the frustration of Apple's limitation when it comes to moving files around etc. will fully appreciate this, even though it's a bit pricey I would still give it the 5 stars.

Not impressed. 1. Item comes in two parts, the memory stick and a protective carrying case. These are in a plastic tray in a box. Lost count of the number of pieces the plastic tray was in. I think it should have been one piece. 2. I keep my iPhone n a leather case. The curve in the clip is too small for accommodate this, so it has to be removed. Not an easy task. No problem though with the iPad case. 3. There were no instructions. 4. Plugged it in - needed "the app". Went to the App Store and there were at least two, but eventually located the right one. 5. App says iBridge needs to be updated, says how to do it, but not where to find it. 6. Went to website and updating was easy, once you had got past everything else they sell. 7. Plugged in to iPhone, message said MobileMemory wanted to access iPhone. Allow? Yes. Next message says iBridge not connected. Unplug it, plug it in again, and hey ho it is recogmised. 8. Eventually managed to transfer some photos, but wisely did not delete them from iPhone. Then I found a backup section for photos and contacts. Transferred these but cannot find out how to read the contacts file, or delete it. Search function on the Contacts page looks at Photos. 9. Icons suggest music can be transferred but I have not been able to find out how. 10. I have contacted the company regarding deleting a file (8) and transferring music (9). Will update this if the poblem are solved. Update 11 Jan 18 No satisfactory reply. Still unable to transfer music. Update 13 Feb. Can't find it - must be lost Not sorry, now I can get a decent one.

Purchased this to transfer documents and photos. Have successfully transferred photos, PDF, Office docs etc both normal and password protected, map files and epub ebook files - all transferred flawlessly. The device really integrates with iOS and appears in all app options for file saving and sharing etc. Plays video and music without lag and transferred image files to and from the device with ease. Can't see an option for saving video or music to the iPad but I'd expect that due to iTunes restrictions. Over all I'm really impressed with this device which almost bridges the massive downside of Apple vs Samsung on the subject of file transfer and internal memory cards etc...Not quite but almost!

Possédant un iPad mini 16Go j'étais constamment obligé de libérer de la mémoire ( effacer des photos, des appli) afin de pouvoir mettre des films et series que je visionnais via vlc lors de mes déplacements professionnels. Avec leef bridge que j'ai acheté en version 32Go je n'ai plus ce genre de probleme, elle est très simple d'utilisation, comme une clé usb traditionnelle, et l'application leef associée permet de lire tout type de format video ou musique. L'application peut être amélioré certe, notamment le fait que toutes les vidéos sont sauvegardés en vrac et non en dossier, donc pour rechercher un épisode précis de votre serie favorite cest un peu fastidieux, et il y a moins d'option de lecteur comparé au vlc média... Mais vous pouvez ouvrir vos fichiers avec l'application que vous désirez comme sur votre Pc vous pouvez cliquer sur l'onglet "ouvrir avec" Un défaut: consomme vite la batterie. Donc hormis quelques défauts de l'application, qui seront sans doute résolus progressivement après les prochaines mises à jour, je trouve que tout est niquel. Tres content de mon achat, je l'ai recommandé à un ami qui l'a egalement acheté.

Love it. I take a lot of videos and store them on the LEEF. Leaves my iPhone ready for the next bunch of videos.

Indispensabile per gli utenti iOS. Funziona con l' app companion: semplice, ben fatta e costantemente aggiornata. La pendrive é ben rifinita, abbastanza veloce nel trasferire i dati. L'app permette di visualizzare e gestire quasi tutti i tipi di file. Per me era importante che leggesse i .avi e lo fa con un player semplice e discreto. Unico neo, la plastica che funziona da "coperchio" non é di qualità elevata come il resto. Caldamente consigliata, a mio parere é addirittura meglio avere l' iBridge che un device più capiente perché con la pendrive si può direttamente spostare la memoria da un dispositivo all'altro.
