Korn

I've heard so many good things about Korn. I know that they started the nu metal genre. So when I saw this album for £2.99, I bought it straight away and I'm so glad I did! In my opinion, Blind and Shoots And Ladders are the best songs. And daddy. Whoah. It packs a hell of a punch. It's basically about how Jonathan Davis (Lead vocals) was raped when he was younger, and his mam and dad didn't believe him. I almost felt uncomfortable listening to it. At the end of daddy (After a bit of silence) a hidden track starts playing. A bit random really. What it is is a man and a woman arguing about car parts. Final verdict (Songs) Blind - 10/10 Ball Tongue- 8/10 Need to- 7/10 Clown- 9/10 Divine- 7/10 Faget- 8/10 Shoots And Ladders- 10/10 Predictable- 8/10 Fake- 8/10 Lies- 9/10 Helmet In The Bush- 7/10 Daddy- 10/10 Overall I would rate this album 5 stars.

Nice product good quality

Their first album is a raw,loud and energetic experience,of course you have the awesome blind but every track is memorable and the album plays through start to finish perfectly,with great riffs,bass and drums.The frustration in jonathan davis,s vocals sounds very real especially on clown,faget and daddy

Not much to say apart from a fantastic album, they have produced better but this what the setting stone for their work. I think many people rate this as there favourite and although the later albums have slipped up in terms of absolute greatness, you can always chuck this album on and relive the glory days. Great album.

Great album, takes me back many years. Shame korn went a bit down hill. Their cover of word up is amazing, and some of this album is even better.

An amazing album. My only complaint. The print on the outer sleeve looks very blurry as if it's a fake album.

2 dischi meravigliosi e forti. La qualità audio è perfetta, si sente benissimo. Sono davvero soddisfatta.

コーンのファーストアルバム。ジャケットのデザインからコーンの世界観を堪能できる。 デビュー当時はべヴィロックとかいうジャンルだった記憶があるが、今はニューメタルというジャンルなのでしょうか？ ひたすら重くて低いサウンドを堪能できる。バンドがヒップホップにも影響を受けているので、リズム感が他のバンドとは異なっている。アルバムを聴くと、レイジアゲインストマシーンやスーパーアンノウンのサウンドガーデンを思い出す。 普通デビューアルバムはサウンドの拙さができるが、ベース、ギター、ドラムのレベルが高いので、最初からかなり高い完成度である。 ボーカルのジョナサンの感情がもろにサウンドに影響を及ぼしていて、唯一無二のサウンドとなっている。ハードなアルバムではあるが、意外に聞きやすい面もある。

OuterCover has cracked, recycled plastic covers are the party poopers, a set of four CDs doesn't look authentic, if somebody is crazy about CDs only then this is worth. This set of four CDs will not last long.Not a collector's thimg. Music is good. Artists may not get any returns from this purchase.I don't want to return this,as even his probably fabricated kits may not available now a days. My ideas is to passover the legacy to the upcoming generation in a CD format, as compressed formats like spotify is not meant for audiophiles like me!!. I will keep these CDs as long as possible.
