Doesn’t set properly or full of bubbles. You choose. Awful Product.
This is a dreadful resin. If you mix it for five minutes as instructed using the stirrer provided the resin ends up completely full of bubbles which ruins your casting, but it sets brilliantly. If you carefully stir the mix gently and slowly for five minutes then you can manage to keep the bubbles out of it, but then it doesn’t set at all, and ends up ruining your expensive mould. Ask me how I know. I tried: 1) using my ultrasonic cleaner to vibrate the bubbles out. Worked a bit but would have taken a very long time given the amount created in the mixture. 2) warming the resin first, which thinned it slightly and improved matters very marginally. Overall the resin is far too thick to mix at home without inducing air, and simply too sensitive in the way it reacts to being mixed.
