Caroma M5 750289 Outlet Valve Review: Exactly what I needed to replace the original valve on my Caravelle 2000 - perfect fit, easy-ish to install if one is handy. Took 30minutes to change out, and now the toilet flushes perfectly and doesn't leak into bowl, wasting water constantly. The half flush is now usable, too. Box from seller came with directions which helped a bit, too. Review: Works well! - I replaced my older rectangular type with this one. I took off the tank and replaced the outlet valve. I used a phillips screw driver to adjust the height of the blue buttons, so that they made contact with the dual push buttons that are on top of the tank. There are no instructions - so look online for that. It worked out perfectly! Very pleased with the outcome

Works well!
I replaced my older rectangular type with this one. I took off the tank and replaced the outlet valve. I used a phillips screw driver to adjust the height of the blue buttons, so that they made contact with the dual push buttons that are on top of the tank. There are no instructions - so look online for that. It worked out perfectly! Very pleased with the outcome

Installed easily
Exact replacement for Caroma model, 2-piece toilet. Installed easily. Complete installation requires separating the tank from the base. Sometimes the two bolts holding them together are agreeable. Then the whole thing is easy, including the new gasket on the bottom of the tank. This time the bolts were not cooperative, and that gasket was not the problem anyway. Installing the new outlet valve above the old gasket worked fine, this time. Done that way the removal and replacement takes less than two minutes.

I am ques. #2 cust. Paddles don't reach flush buttons.
It installed fine in my two part toilet but the buttons don't line up to flush. I may have needed a 750290 or 750017? My outlet valve was a 415 042 HF03 for the Caroma Royale Cistero. 6.0 L/1.6gpf.

Great product, just as described
Great product, very easy to install. We had the older version, which is no longer in production, but this one worked great and is much easier to use.

Used these newer cartridge design to replace the older tower stackes. The old stackes were a trick to remove and replace and usually cost scratched & gouged knuckles in the process. The new cartridge simply twists in and out. Moreover the gasket installs much more easily and is made of a material that holds up to hard water much better than the original.
