Micomlan Led Desk Lamp with Clamp, Architect Desk Lamp for Home Office with Atmosphere Lighting, 24W Ultra Bright Auto Dimming Computer Light Stepless Dimming and Tempering LED Table Light

I purchased one of these in April 2025 and was very happy with its versatility and performance. But it wasn't until I purchased another one for my wife 8 months later — which should tell you right away how great I still feel about the lamp — that I felt I had to write a review. The lamp is perfect: it can be mounted on any portion of a desk and be super-usable thanks to its many adjustable 'elbows' and pivots; the light range (color temperature, brightness and stepless dimming) is very convenient...and all of it can be easily controlled by the remote. But I have to say, the prime motivator for my writing this review has been the vendor support. Here's why (and IF YOU EVER BUY TWO OR MORE OF THESE you should take note): Our two lamps are one wall away from each other. When I set up the new lamp for my wife, I noticed MY lamp was turning on/off and changing brightness when I used her remote. I tried putting duct tape and aluminum foil at the tip of the remotes to lessen their power/effect on controlling the other lamp. No luck. So I wrote to the vendor (Micomlan). Within a day they got back and solved it for me. The default setting of the remotes out of the box is 'unpaired', so that one remote can control any number of these lamps. Which is what happened to me...and not what I desired. Micomlan told me you can pair one remote to one lamp and to follow the instructions in manual that comes in the box for how to do that. Excellent product, excellent service, customer for life. THAT'S how capitalism should work. 😊 Needless to say...BUY THIS LAMP!

This lamp is somewhat articulating where you can tilt it forward and backwards, tilt the main light at various angles, and also tilt & flip the end wing-lights upward towards the ceiling to light up a darken room better. This is beneficial if you prefer to have your main room lights dimmed or off and just use this lamp. It's very bright. The 5-6 step brightness control is a bonus as is the varying color temperature adjustment from very warm at 2,700K to 5,000K+. There is a light setting for every room environment. The model in white is attractive and blends well with modern office desks, whether they have a walnut tone surface & black metal legs, or even lighter color desktops.

This is the best desk lamp I have ever had. The lighting allows for brighter and less brighter light. With the extra expanding bars, you get a huge range of lighting that covers a large area. This is the perfect desk for a lamp. I got one with a remote control but even without, it is simple to operate. Mine did not come with a base and you had to use the desk clamp to secure it to the desk. I was planning on using that anyway. If you are looking for a good lamp that is cool looking and provides tons of light, this is it. Highly recommend. Update: I was using the light today and I smelled something burning. I felt the plug that was plugged into the wall socket and it was extremely hot. I feared that it would catch fire since I know something was burning and the plug was really hot. I read that this has happened to a couple other purchasers. I returned it immediately and did ask for a replacement. I am hoping that I just happened to get a defective unit since I really like the light a lot. I will do a final update when I receive it and see if the one can become a 5 star again. Update yet again. So I originally gave the desk lamp 5 stars until it appeared to be burning since I smelled burning and then gave it a one star. I returned it and asked for a new one. I did receive the new one. I will once again give the lamp 5 stars. Here is what I am doing differently and this is what I recommend others do. When I was using this desk lamp on the highest setting which is on the 5th setting, it was getting the plug very warm. Since I got the new lamp, I am only using it on the 4th highest setting and it does NOT appear to be overheating. Truth be told, the 4th highest setting is a great amount of light and it's not worth it to risk putting on the highest setting. I did put the plug on a surge protector and all seems fine now. The plug is warm but not hot on the 4th setting. I have tried using it on the highest setting (5th setting) and it does get much more warm than the 4th highest setting. I love the design of the light and it provides a lot of light with the arms that are extended and can spread out. So I do recommend it. I would put the plug on a surge protector or in a plug on it's own and test to if the highest setting gets too hot and if so, reduce to the 4th highest setting which is a lot of light anyway.

I'll be honest. I was looking for something in my local brick and mortar stores. Target, Walmart, Home Depot, Lowes... every place let me down because they all had the same unimaginative junk. And certainly not in store so I can just go get it. I have a pretty deep computer desk with dual 27" monitors on moving arms. I also have a separate soldering table. I wanted good, shadow free illumination on both and nobody had anything that would work. Lo and behold, I stumble across this on Amazon. I love when someone has a good idea and turns it into a great product. Unboxing is just ridiculously easy. There is no building. All you have to do is screw clamp it to your surface and plug it in. It seems it'll fit a pretty thick surface too. 1 1/8" (almost 3cm) thick shelf stock for a desk and it has enough space for another inch or so. No flickering that I can see. It's clean smooth light. The color temperature options are plentiful and you can cycle through presets of both temp and brightness or do a smooth transition to what you want. The side panels are separately turned on and off (together) and can fold down 90° (if you really wanted to) or all the way up to upside down on top of the main lamp. It's all folded together in the box, so just unfold and use. Only real issue is there's no telescoping function. So if you have a small desk and want it mounted at the back AND close to your surface, you might have to get creative. The auto brightness is interesting... it gets brighter when the ambient light goes down. I expected the opposite. But maybe this makes sense. I prefer manual control anyway. Overall, very great product for anyone working at a desk, writing, making, what have you. I love this thing already. There's a really good video review that will show you all you need to know. I bought two right then and there (for both tables) and I do not regret my decision at all.

I’m actually very happy with this Amazon product and I rarely get to say that so I’m happy. Perfect for busy stressed students. Everything works fantastic. The adjustability is a great feature. The different light settings are cool. It takes up minimal space on your desk which I like. The only thing I can think of that can be improved is if it came with a remote. Because I use it for mood lighting as well and when I get sleepy I don’t want to get up and manually turn it off all the way at my desk. But I will add a “clap on/off” in my light socket so it solves that little problem.

Didn't take me long to like this lamp! The adjustability for position, brightness, color temp, easy touch buttons, make this lamp a winner. The clamp comes with a rubber pad for the metal press foot underneath to eliminate compression marks if you have a wood desk. I didn't expect to have an auto-brightness capability but it works quickly. Price was great during the holiday sell. Debating about buying one more. An included thank you card has an email for assistance and states a 24 month warranty. I have 4 stars only for some small preferences. 1 is the buttons on the unit need to be labeled differently. I got the unit that came with a remote control. For example, the remote has C+ and C- for color temp up and down. Makes sense. On the lamp I press "M" to change color temp. The remote has B+ and B- for brightness adjustment. The lamp has a circle with lines away from it like a sun that you press to cycle through brightness. You can turn on and off the side lamps together, not individually. That is OK with me. However, there's a power button on the left of the lamp and a power button on the right of the lamp. One is for the middle lamp and one is for the sides. You have to press them to figure out which one controls which. The remote control labels the lights, one button with "M" and one button with "S" which stands for middle lamp and side lamps. Essentially, the remote control is more intuitive than the lamp itself. Final thought is it would be perfect with 1 more vertical pivot right next to the head. That would allow perfect adjustment for any situation. Big plus for allowing the side lamps to light to the ceiling and turn off the middle lamp for the ambient lighting! I recommend this lamp highly, I just think it needs the labeling changed to make it more understandable. The extra money is worth the remote since the buttons on the lamp are highly sensitive and the remote also has an "A" for auto- brightness rather than holding one of the buttons for 3 seconds to turn on such feature.

I used to have monitor mounted desk lamps for my desk, however they'd often fall off. So when I saw this, I decided to give it a go. Glad I did, it fits perfectly on my desk, and with the two "wing" lights, it covers the entire desk. What I really like is the ability to turn off the main lamp and the two wings independently. I find just having the two wings on and set at a low brightness is my "zone" Installation was a breeze, literally just open the box, attach to the table, plug in the power. There is no remote control, so everything is manual, in my case that's not a huge issue as I just reach up and press the buttons. The unit feels rather sturdy, and when adjusting the joins, they feel solid and secure. There are 3 joins on the main trunk of the light that work very well, at the top there is a left/right rotate joint that moves freely and stays in place. The two wing lights have a 270 degree movement angle, and if you don't use them will fold to lay flat on top of the main light. The connection between the desk mount and light trunk also rotates. Overall I like it, the light can be adjusted to suit my mode or if I'm scribbling notes, it feels sturdy, and the easy height adjustment works.

Holy cow! I already had a small desk light, two windows, and an overhead light, but I didn’t realize I still didn’t have the right amount of direct lighting. I’m so glad I bought this lamp. The photos honestly don’t do it justice — my desk area is noticeably brighter and much more evenly lit now. One of my favorite features is that the light is adjustable and positioned above eye level, so it brightens my workspace without being blinding by the light lol (🎶). It’s made a huge difference for my setup.

The Desk lamp arrived on time and well packaged. Easy to assemble and no parts missing. Very sturdy, the light is soft an an bright at the same time. The light spreads well over the screen and not overbearing. It has adjustable lighting and evening light, very convenient when tired. I would highly recommend if you ae in front of a screen for many hours,

I’ve been using this desk lamp for a month now, and I absolutely love it! I had been searching for a functional, lightweight lamp with multiple settings, and this one checks all the boxes. The light options are versatile and the LED is very bright, the quality overall feels excellent. I even use it for time-lapse recordings by placing my phone on it. truly multifunctional. Highly recommend!

I chose this lamp because it was recommended by several YouTubers for art etc. Also, it has a CRI, color rendering accuracy of 95/100 which is good for an LED lamp. Sunlight is of course 100/100, full color spectrum. I have been using it at the 6500K, the coolest setting, for art, seeing as that is supposedly closest to a north studio-light. Nice to have several temp. and light-level options. For any creatives out there concerned about colour accuracy, in a way the lamp's light is too good -- i.e. if I am working on something at night without natural daylight, the paint colour appears very vibrant. The colour looks very drab and desaturated when viewed under natural light the next day. The only exception being when the room is flooded with warm south or west light, in which case the color of the artwork is closer to what it was under the lamp's light. Haven't figured out a solution for these colour swings yet. The only other thing is that an extra foot or two of cord length would have been nice though there is probably just a standardish cord length for all lamps.

Excellent lamp provides plenty of light for my sewing projects. Light mode has plenty of options for brightness and color. My worktable is a little over 6 feet wide and it is great for the middle 4 feet. The light wings on each end can be flipped up to catch that last little bit. I would purchase this light again.
