Biocard Celiac Test

Very easy to use and came up with a quick result of negative! I was dubious so I actually bought 2 of them and again negative, so was worth it!P.S. Don't stop eating gluten/wheat as it needs to be in your system for the test and for the doctors test when you get it confirmed! :-)

This arrived quickly and was fairly easy to use. Mine did not show a positive result but the control line showed which reassured me I had done the test correctly. I would recommend reading the instructions fully before opening any of the parts, it is easy to get muddled up when you're rushing! The finger prick is not painful. 4 stars because it took a while studying the diagrams before understanding exactly what to do. Perhaps written labels on the parts or different colours would have helped.

Test was clear enough and easy to perform but the lancet was cheap and didn't work properly. Had to take it apart and reassemble. It's a good enough product but below expectations for the price they're charging.

I did this test a while back and also read some medical studies into it through my university access. My test was negative at 5 and 10 minutes yet at 15 there was a very faint line. I did the test exactly as directed. This result was classed as negative as it said to ignore results by the test window of 5 to 10 mins.However a blood test at the hospital showed I was extremely high in TTG and biopsy showed the most severe stage of Coeliac. The research I read also said that many positive results were very faintly positive and after 15 mins which is outside the test window so classed by the test as negative.So I would still go to your doctor if you have symptoms and get a negative test result.

I received my order on time, placed all the contents out and read the instructions fully. I then went to prick myself with the needle but it didn't work so I had to get a sewing needle to prick my finger with! I then shook the container with my blood sample in and placed the test stick in for 5 minutes, when I took it out there was no line at all just a smear of red. Waste of £20 if you ask me.

I purchased two of these because I wanted to double check my result. The first test I did came up a very faint red line but the line came up just over the ten minute limit. Again I buy another one the same thing happens. I contacted the makers of this to ask their view and they said any red line visable is a positive result. I booked an appointment with my GP who ran a series of blood tests as I was anemic too and my result came back a POSITIVE high. In my opinion this was brilliant and I recommend.

I was afraid of this product initially, as a lot of reviewers seemed to have difficulties following its instructions.Not my case! I did the test very quickly and with no problems at all, and got a negative result. Very fast and easy to use!

Thankfully I do not have celiac disease but my daughter does. It was not difficult at all to do. Easy test and very clear in it's results. Made me think of doing a pregnancy test as the test stick very similar . Good product.
