Great performance - great value. So good I bought them twice!
I have only just received this set - so too soon to provide use experience - but I would make the following comments based upon my ownership of a previous model also called the Wave X1 - https://www.amazon.co.uk/X1-Bluetooth-Headphone-Built--Microphone/dp/B00NZ99FPY/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1474461199&sr=8-5&keywords=psyc That was an excellent headset - I only used it at the gym (and very occasional travel use - I have Bose noise cancelling ones for that usually) and the audio quality was superb for that type of use. They effectively blocked out the muzak piped into the gym (at too high levels and not to my liking) and provided a good fit and stable positioning while engaged in vigorous workouts. My 'in ear' headset doesn't do that and causes me to have to play music much louder than is probably good for me to try to drown out the muzak. The battery life was good - I typically go to the gym for between 60 and 90 minutes each time and only needed to recharge them after about 6-8 visits. Controls were easy to use on the right earpiece, while wearing them, once you get to know the position of the buttons. I only bought these headphones this week as the headband on one side of the original pair broke this week. Don't know why or how, I folded them up, put them in my gym bag and when I took them out the speaker cup was hanging off by two very thin wires. I tried to fix it but it was a fiddly job and I am not convinced that even if I'd got all the bits back into the right place that the repair would last for long - and for ยฃ18.99 to buy new ones, well, life is to short to worry. :-) I have owned the original ones for over a year, so I figure I've had good enough use. Though would be nice if they could improve the headband robustness, perhaps. This new model is a little different - they look bigger on my head than the original set, but not ridiculously so - one doesn't look like a Cyberman wearing them... :-) I charged them when I opened the box and inside an hour they are fully charged. Not sure if they came with partial charge. I'll post a comment in a few days as to whether the audio performance is equal to or better than the original pair - just trying them with nothing playing through them, they appear to insulate external noise even better than the original set. I agree with the comments others have made about the quality of packaging and the 'feel' of the headphones - they appear to be a quality product at very good price points. So based on my original experience and initial impressions of these replacements, I'd recommend them highly. UPDATE - February 2018 - I failed to post an earlier update on these as I said I would, But only because I forgot. I have been using them several times a week, every week at the gym (kept in my gym bag so not for other purposes). They do a great job of blocking ambient music over the PA system in the gym (effectively shutting it out) and cope well with movement and sweat - I wipe the cups after workout and occasionally during. I've noticed occasionally that one cup doesn't have the original clarity it did, but that is possibly due to the use it gets and it's sporadic. I ordered a new set to ensure that I have continuity if the original ones fail (at the price who cares?) and the first delivery had a DOA - the charge light wouldn't turn off and it wouldn't power on.Returned to Amazon and ordered another pair the same day. Just arrived and they are great. Exceptionally good sound quality for a cheap headset. Clear, deep bass. Lovely sound. I've got Bose, Sony and other headphones for different purposes/uses - and these compare very favourably. Upgraded my review to 5 Stars. Really very good product!

Great headphones, aside from a few problems
This is a quick review of the Psyc Wave S1 headphones (see below): BACKGROUND: Having a Linx 7 tablet with a broken (hissing) audio jack (common problem) I thought using Bluetooth headphones would solve the problem. So I ordered a pair of these from Express 24hr (4p more expensive than MyMemory for delivery in less than 24hrs!). PACKAGING: When they arrived I was pleasantly surprised with the packaging - premium box and materials used for a product that seems to be online-exclusive. They were in a plastic shell which was easy to remove. Also in the box is a micro-usb charging cable and an instruction manual, but the headphones DO NOT support an aux in cable - they are wireless only. SET-UP: After almost not seeing the instruction manual and it's indication to charge for four hours, I plugged the headphones into a Samsung phone charger and the red charging light went off after about two. Took off charge and connected to laptop - pairing initially went well. However, as I used the headphones more, pairing became more difficult - I now need to remove the headphones form Windows Bluetooth Settings first before use. BUILD: Great build quality, apart from the annoyingly clicky buttons. AUDIO QUALITY: This is the problem. There's a very loud hiss that sounds like static whenever media is playing - that could be a windows sound effect, in quiet parts of music, or in a almost silent part of a YouTube video. It's not as audible at higher volumes, but is extremely annoying. The quality of the sound otherwise is fine, not amazing - not a match on a pair of Sony wired headphones purchased for slightly cheaper that I now believe are less than ยฃ10 on Amazon, but better than an old pair of Wesc headphones, and dare I say it, probably better than Beats. EDIT: see below COMFORT: They squeeze your ears a bit, but are usable. OTHER POINTS: - Annoying white flashing light - Pings loudly on disconnection - Terrible Bluetooth range - less than 2M - Frequent disconnects on some, especially Realtek, Bluetooth chipsets - Audio lag using a Poundland Bluetooth dongle - Over, not on-ear design means they are slightly more comfortable for short periods of time. I've contacted Express 24hr who I believe are looking into a solution to my problem with the noise. Should you buy the headphones? Depends if the noise is just that I have a faulty pair or if the problem is across all devices. Without the noise, they'd be a solid pair of cheap headphones, however not knowing if my problem can be fixed or if it occurs across devices I'd say a pair of Kitsound over-ear headphones for ยฃ33 from a well known supermarket could be a better purchase (though I've yet to get some - if my pair can't be fixed I might - they're just about usable) If you know a solution to the noise problem, or if you have it yourself, please find my question in the Q&A section on Amazon. I'll update this review if I fix the problem. * I'm not responsible for any problems you have * - and was not paid to write this either EDIT: after a day of use the noise has got quieter. Battery lasts a long time too. After about an hour of use your ears get quite uncomfortable, but not badly. FINAL EDIT: Day 2: Noise a little frustrating, but I've only had to charge them once and at medium-ish volume the quality is OK. Few driver problems on Windows 10 with a Lenovo Ultrabook, but fixed by using the poundland donge, which, with new drivers works well. So yes, I would recommend, however the Bluedio pair for ยฃ19 might be a better choice. Thanks to answers on my question on the Q&A page it seems others aren't having the same problem - my pair is probably faulty. Rating up to 4 stars because of this

Maad cheap Headphones that pack a punch!
Impressive headphones of the price! Amazing sound. Battle with a dre beats headphones any day! Bass is on the money and the hi and mids are balanced. These pack a punch of awesomeness. Its surprising for the price! Oh and by the way, these are the 2nd generation with the audio port. Works with the provided gold tip cable. Offers handy folding mechanism and styling is modern. Plastic is acceptable! Loving the touch remote capabilities and hey,..its good! Use these in the gym and believe me,...these are head turners. You get noticed and they don't move hardly at all for comfort and stability! Bluetooth range is easily 20 metres distance and be careful when running too fast as I hear a slight rattle in the head cams which is either the outer casing or inner speaker but it disappears after movement has stopped. Weird! Not major but be aware of this. Will update on this slight annoying problem but what do you expect for ยฃ18.88. Cheap as chips. Buy them!

Good whilst they lasted
I am writing this review about a month since my headphones became faulty. The packaging was top quality and the headphones certainly had a premium look to them, so much so that my sister thought they cost over ยฃ100 ( I haven't corrected her). As far as volume goes, they were solid- a lot louder than my earbuds I'm used to. I had no problems with people on the bus overhearing my songs, and even asked my friends to make sure therefore I can say with confidence you shouldn't have a problem with sound leakage. Now, on to the negatives. The clear problem is that they only lasted around 3 months. However I used them every day for 2 hours on the bus, and when not in use they were usually in my school bag with my books etc. It was quite odd how they stopped working though- I had used them on the bus to college in the morning and they randomly stopped working on the journey back home. I had assumed they had ran out of battery (battery life isn't the best) but they haven't worked since. Also the name at the top of the headphone has faded away but again that could be because of the rigours of the daily college run! All in all I would recommend these headphones because for the price you really can't go wrong.

Inexpensive, and very impressive at the price.
These are not expensive as bluetooth headphones go, so I was prepared for some compromises - however, I was very pleased with them in every respect so far. As others have commented, the default sound response isn't perfect, but ten seconds playing with the equaliser brought the response range to where I want it, so no problem there. Pairing with my android phone took about 30 seconds, and was very easy - worked first time and hasn't dropped out at all. The controls are not necessarily the most intuitive, but they do work as stated. Slightly more comprehensive instructions would have been nice - not that they're not adequate and accurate, but they are a little terse, and clearly a (not perfect) translation. Battery life has been fine, and the over-earness works well to block out external sounds. They're quite comfortable - wearing them for a couple of hours at a time is no problem. The folding aspect helps them fit into my bag nicely. The hinges seem reasonably robust - will have to see how they hold up to the rigours of travel. The mic is not perfect for phone calls - a little quiet and muffled - but does seem to work. Using the remote controls takes a few tries to figure out - but again, work exactly as advertised once you figure them out. Thus far, extremely happy with them. UPDATE July 2016 Having used these headphones for the past 18 months, I've been very happy with them, and not experienced significant problems. The sizing band resistance seems to get a bit looser over time, but it's not really a problem. Battery life is still very good. The mic isn't really usable as, being on the right ear, you have to shout to be heard. Ahh well. My only real problem is, I appear to have left my set on the train, and they are thus lost. And so I have had to come and buy a new pair. I hope the new ones work as well as the old ones.

I had an horrible experience with both this product and Sumvision
I had an horrible experience with both this product and Sumvision. I bought this product twice from Sumvision. The first time the battery lasted for less than 1 hour (instead than 10 hours, as the description said). The second time I just turned on the headset and the pairing didn't work anymore. Also, it just kept turning off by itself whenever I took out the USB cable (something wrong with the battery again?). Unfixable (not to mention that the instruction manual wasn't helpful at all). Their support is really bad (as well as their website). They require you to register, and just after many days they will reply to you, basically just saying "return the product through Amazon", which is fine, but then I received another faulty product, and it broke just after the return policy didn't cover the refund anymore. I know the headset is not that expensive, but if you want to avoid troubles with returns and long waiting times for answers, don't buy this headset from Sumvision.

Lasted me through the toughest of times
Paid just under ยฃ20 for it and didn't really expect too much, but damn this was a good buy. I've had these for over a year now, wearing them on bike rides, gym and boxing sessions, and in the pouring rain and they've not diminished in quality or functionality at all. It takes about an hour to charge and lasts on average around 8 eights of constant use. They fold away nicely and fit comfortable around your neck and on your ears. The sound quality is above what I expected too; they have a good range with little distortion when at a high volume and can actually play music quite loudly. 5/5 would highly recommend

Great sound, great price! Not for gym use!
This is the first review I have ever wrote on Amazon, usually I don't care about such things but I feel like I must shout to the world about these earphones. Quite simply.... they are amazing! Not a word of a lie, after I bought these headphones I contacted the seller to say that someone else had bought me a set of headphones for Christmas and that I would be returning the Psyc Wave S1's to them for a full refund as they were no longer required. When they arrived I couldn't help trying them out just to see what they were like before I sent them back... well I was just blown away by the quality of the sound, so much so that I never returned them, kept them and am now using them as my main headphones. Battery-life seems to be decent, a good 8hrs between recharges, more than enough for me as I just mainly use them at the gym. The Bluetooth range is quite good too, I've never stretched them to their max distance but I have been a good 30ft away from my mobile and they still worked! Great sound, great price! Just buy them already! EDIT: 6 months after buying these headphones I am having to reduce my original rating from 5 stars to 4. The pleather on the ear cups have completely seperated exposing the soft, blue foam underneath. I use these headphones 3 times a week at the gym so I believe the combination of heat and sweat has softened the glue that holds the seams together. It's a pity that the seams weren't stitched or these would be the perfect budget bluetooth headphones. Only buy if you intend to use these for casual use, DO NOT buy if you plan to wear these frequently at the gym.
