Defect product in TWO ways! Not recommended.
First, this OTG camera cable will not connect any USB external drives or USB sticks to our iPads. DOA, basically. Defective! Second, the USB-C female slot on this camera cable is SO small that no USB-C male dongle can even be inserted into it! Too big! You will have to file it with a needle file to make it large enough to function. So, defective in both ways. Returning for refund or credit.

I bought this to replace a different adapter that stopped charging from the lightning port. I use this as a usb audio interface for ipad running streaming software. Working great so far for a couple of months.

I haven't used it many times, but the few times I have, it's worked great. I have used for a keyboard (non apple) attachment to my iPad and it does exactly what it's supposed to.
