Can the lights be turned off?

No. Rachel said the color-changing lights can be turned off by holding the power button. That's why I bought this mouse instead of another. Turns out there is no power button AND no way to turn off the color changing LEDs. There's a switch for 2.4GHz, Of(f), and Bluetooth. There's a DPI button, and long-pressing it turns on Bluetooth pairing. There's a wheel button, and long-pressing it does nothing. I've tried combinations of all buttons and that doesn't work either. Now I have to decide if I hate the lights enough to make it worth the hassle of returning it.

I am trying to pair this mouse via bluetooth and all it does is blink red. Help.

Make sure your device has BT turned on. Also, try turning the mouse off and on. Also trying using the dongle. If the dongle lining works but not the other suggestions above, maybe there is an issue with the BT circuit in your mouse

its telling me that I need a app for it to connect to my tablet.....what do I do about this??

When I paired my mouth to my computer it didn't ask any of that it what's the basic Bluetooth pairing I'm not sure why you ask you for your tablet
