Review: Handy - This is great for highlighting a particular line for reading and I use it a lot at work. I would recommend.
Review: Good value. - This is a brilliant little magnifying device for me as I suffer with poor eyesight. It enlarges the print on paperback books to a degree that I can comfortably read it. I have a couple of issues with it though, on the part you have to hold the edges are very sharp making it uncomfortable to hold for long periods of time also I think it should come with a protective case or bag to store it in for travel to prevent it getting scratched or damaged. Hence the 4 stars.

A: The description says batteries are NOT required.  Which is it??

A: 6 1/4" full length 5 " lens

**Q: how long is it?**
A: The entire magnifier is about 9.75 inches. The lens is about 6.25 inches long and about 1 inch wide.

**Q: How do I turn on the light?**
A: Please note that the LED lighting in the MagniLine magnifier is touch activated. Please make sure to hold your fingers in both finger grooves simutaneously in order for the LED lights to turn on. Please contact Carson's customer service department and we will be glad to assist you further.
