This is the best bone broth product I've used; I've purchased this 5 times over the course of a couple years. I don't drink it every day, although I easily could (and probably should). It's hydrolyzed, which makes it easily dissolvable in water. There is a slight marrow flavor, so it may take some getting used to if you're trying to put it into a morning beverage like coffee. It is a really great additive for soup or anything savory, and drinking it hot on its own with a pinch of salt is also very nice. My personal noted effects include stronger finger nails (and I imagine bone/joint health with how I feel), increased acuity/brain function, overall energy boost and a few mild positive effects related to the bedroom. It's probably not going to change your life dramatically, but in my case it provided enough noticeable results to warrant continual, consecutive purchases.

I’ve been using this product for about a year and absolutely love it! It mixes very well, which is always a concern with protein powders. I use it for breakfast by making a “protein tea” with 3 Yogi immune system packets, two scoops of this bone broth powder, honey, and lemon. It's delicious and keeps me full until lunch. I’ve even used it as the broth for my ramen noodles 😜. I've noticed my nails are growing so fast. My knee pain is gone, and I'm a 15-year soccer athlete. I have lots of energy in the morning, and my immune system is thriving, which is essential because I work with 2-6-year-olds with Autism. I would easily choose this product over any protein powder. This product is excellent, and I will continue to buy it forever!

My first order of Zammex was very palatable in my coffee and oatmeal. Had a bit of nutty flavor but I didn’t mind. This second container tastes much more bitter and I will not be ordering it again. More consistency is needed in making this product.

Perfect solution for those of us that are lactose intolerant and can't tolerate the "usual" protein products.

I love and crave bone broth but my husband isn’t a fan of smelling it simmer for three days, and so I started looking for an alternative. I tried Ancient Nutrition and loved it but found it to be rather costly, and so I tried this. I was worried that the flavor would be quite different but it is not. I have an electric kettle, and so I boil some water, add a scoop of bone broth protein with and a pinch of iodized sea salt, stir it well and it hits the spot perfectly. I drink it whenever I am cold, and at night before sleep. I have trouble sleeping because I don’t get enough protein in my diet and this helps. It also makes a great base for soups and other recipes as well that call for beef stock. Many people complain about the flavor, and it seems that most of these people are trying to add it to smoothies. That sounds pretty gross, unless you like a meaty flavor in your fruit/vegetable smoothie. I don’t recommend it for use in a smoothie or in coffee. Choose something with vanilla flavor or another flavor that compliments the other ingredients, because this DOES taste like bone broth. I would also imagine that it needs very hot water to dissolve properly. Even with hot water and a lot of stirring you will still get a few lumps but that is par for the course with powdered bone broth due to the consistency and nature of gelatin. I recommend this product for people who enjoy the flavor and benefits of real bone broth but are unable to make it from scratch. It is also a great base for soups and sauces.

Yes, it’s UNFLAVORED but not TASTELESS. You can’t use this in baking, it has too strong of a metallic taste. I can only use it in my coffee to cover up the taste. I wish their flavored options were still high in protein like this one.

I was hoping to have a tasteless enough bone broth protein to use in both hot coffee and iced coffee, as I cannot use the whey protein in any form. I put 1/3 of a scoop in hot coffee, with a tablespoon of cream, a teaspoon of sugar and I couldn’t taste the powder. When I made my iced coffee a little later, I used the same amount of protein powder, a little more sugar and about 4oz of milk, but I could definitely taste the powder. I dumped it out. It mixes great, at least and I will use it in my hot coffee so I don’t waste the jar of it.
