These shelves are great. They're engineered really nicely and the parts are super-easy to assemble and sturdy for plastic shelving, each vertical bar locks perfectly into place. The parts are also perfectly interchangeable. If you wanted you could mix and match, buy two units, make one 6 shelves high and the other four shelves high, no problem. Like any shelf just a foot deep, these aren't entirely stable, so you should definitely consider anchoring it to a wall. Based on the quality, I don't doubt that these can hold fifty lbs per shelf, however, if you set a 50 lb dumbbell in the center of one shelf, you'd see it bowing, most likely permanently if you left it that way. It's plastic. There's not much you can do about that. So I'd recommend putting heavier objects off to the sides closer to the vertical supports and leaving the center for lighter items, or distribute the weight evenly across the shelf. You can see bowing with even pressing down gently with one hand in the center of a shelf. These will sag if you're putting all the weight right in the center. Overall, for the price, I think these may be the best plastic shelves you can possibly buy. I bought four, and I'm already thinking of buying two more. The shelves are not attractive in any way. Purely functional. But since I'm just putting them in a storage room it's fine. These aren't shelves you'd put out where guests would see them if you care about aesthetics. But if all you care about is putting all your junk on shelves? Perfection achieved.

These shelves are fantastic! Setting them up was super simple, just plug the larger half of each of the four polls into a shelf, then put on the next layer on top and repeat. Took me maybe two or three minutes to build with no tools. The five-shelf unit is sturdy, easily holding four of my 61-key synth keyboards, and two half-sized keyboards on the top. Looks great, highly recommended!

These shelves are a great option if you need storage without dealing with metal racks. The plastic is much sturdier than I expected and feels like it can handle the weight it’s rated for on the lower shelves. Each shelf is deep and wide, so it easily fits large bins, boxes, or bulky items. Although smaller items don't fit well because of the large gaps. I also like that the unit is modular, so you can reconfigure or stack if you buy more than one set. Assembly was straightforward—everything snaps together without tools, and once it’s set up, the unit feels stable. It’s tall enough to give you plenty of vertical storage, but not so tall that it’s hard to reach the top shelf, over all they do function well. From a safety standpoint I'd definitely recommend stacking heavier items at the bottom, lighter items on the upper shelves. The only drawback is that while it seems heavy-duty for plastic shelving, it’s not quite as rock-solid as metal shelving. If you put a lot of weight on the top shelf, there can be a little bit of flex. Also it seems to be priced a bit high I think it would have more value for the money about 25% less cost. Not just for putting stuff. Only downside is the shelf channels are pretty deep and wide, so stacking small objects could be tough, also means I had to cover them up so my cats feet wouldn't get stuck in them or she wouldn't want to use them as steps or somewhere to sit. For my small catio - I needed something that wouldn't fall apart if it got rained on now then. These shelves were a pretty good answer. I just put some carpet on top to cover the open channels, hopefully the adhesive will hold up. It's actually good there are channels for drainage if they do get wet versus a flat surface which could pool up longer. I intend to cover the catio with a sun sail, but sometimes the weather blows sideways so there's no avoiding things getting wet during a storm. Sturdy, light weight and super easy to put together. I broke up the unit into two sections - Shelves could tip over when you get above 3 tiers but I placed them it into a corner so it's less likely, could also strap one of the support bars. Once pieces are in place the hold together snug and can easily be taken apart without any tools. Plastic parts are manufactured uniformly, ship clean and stacked and don't put off any bad odors.

I love these shelves and bought them to place my wigs on. Whether they're in boxes or on styrofoam heads, these shelves are perfect. Super easy to put together, without any tools. Great height and depth. They'll be easy to keep clean and the material they're made of is strong enough to withstand much more weight than my wigs could ever be. My husband found this 5 shelf set for me on Amazon and they're just the right size & thickness that I needed to keep my wigs organized. Having these shelves is so much better than storing all my wigs in totes. I'll be more organized and will be able to choose the wig I want to wear without having to dig at the bottom of a tote. And, as I've mentioned in other reviews, I wear my wigs for fun. I have thick healthy hair but sometimes I just don't like to deal with bad hair days. This is going to be so much more convenient and handy. And most likely will be full by the time I get all my wigs out and placed on the shelves.

I am a senior and have just moved into a smaller home. Have lots of fabric and other stuff in large plastic bins. Needed a way to organize and still have easy access. This plastic shelving unit is very sturdy and easily holds 2 large plastic bins on each shelf. Great storage for organizing in my closet. It was so easy to put together. Highly recommend. Thinking about getting more.
