However, when I starred to assemble it (I am a tradesman so no stranger to tools etc) I soon realise that that the fittings included are cheap rubbish. The cam lock fittings have a cheap plastic shoulder (metal ones are much better) that make it difficult to gauge how far to screw them in - too far and the cam won't lock. The threaded stud came out of the thumb-screw for the shelf support when I tightened it hand-tight (I pressed it back in with pliers). The black plastic feet kept falling out of the metallic tube legs - they should have been a tight fit. There are three hinges on the cabinate door. It wouldn't stay shut - kept popping open. I discovered that one of the hinges had not been fitted (by the manufacturer) straight and was slightly bent. The only way around this was to remove the hinge and just use two. It looks ok now but only after I messed about modifying it. My advice - dont buy unless you are handy and confident enought that you can overcome such problems. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Looks way better than the photos. *by J***S on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 10 January 2015* Fed up of all the wires showing at the back of my amp, blu ray, sky etc I invested in this. Firstly when it arrived flat packed I was a little worried. However, the diagram instructions are very clear and in all it took about 90 mins to assemble. Once assembled it looks very smart. The beam through door works with all my equipment. The depth is JUST deep enough for my AV Amp, but only just. The photos dont really sell this well enough. The front door is very solid and the top has a glass sheet sitting on it. It really is a good design. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very happy with it *by S***Y on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 14 December 2014* Spent hours and hours looking for a suitable unit for an alcove, which limits the width to 100cm. Was a bit worried about the low height with this one. However it's fine. We have a 40" LCD with a fixed height stand that has the TV screen edge only 17cm above the stand. We watch it from moderately high sofas and we haven't noticed it being a bit lower than when it was on the previous stand (which came with an old old glass tube TV and we live with it like that for years!)Although it is conventional flat-pack it doesn't look too flat-pack when put together. The top is glass and the sides are gloss. Hadn't realised the circular opening 'catch' is actually a hole through the glass. As you open the door you are reminded the box is more Travelodge than Claridges but we don't open it very often. Its purpose is to look inconspicuously smart enough and hide stuff.One reviewer mentioned scratches all over - and when I opened the packaging I thought ours looked all scratched too - however on closer inspection it was just lots of thin fibres from the packaging.We have a Humax freesat box and an LG blu-ray player. Both remotes work nicely through the glass.
