Excellent product. When this came through my door in a little jiffy bag, I used very a strong magnet to confirm it was what I'd hoped, and it did so with an almost comic surety. The fine powder is contained in a clear resealable plastic bag, that permits a nice neat pouring without any cloud of dust, which I'd feared. Btw, I find this "atomized" iron a lot cleaner to use than flaked aluminium. So far I've primarily experimented by mixing the powder with: "clear" silicone caulk, resulting in the temporarily formation of a grey putty, then a few hours later a permanent mid-grey rubber; and a very fluidic, clear, two-part epoxy resin, which ultimately produced a tough DARK grey plastic, with some physical flexibility. Both materials became highly magnetic and pigmented. So, I'm now delighted by having the means to create custom forms at home, that can both attract and be attracted to, a powerful neodymium magnet, almost as if they were cast from molten steel.

Flimsy bag but product is good

I used this to create sparkles in a candle flame as part of a Christingle service. It work exactly as I wanted and was easy to use. Being packaged in a see through re-sealable bag made it easy to identify and meant I could easily take out the amount I required each time

Used in a demo to show how iron dust sparkles when put in a flame. Kids enjoyed. Just don't get over enthusiastic as it will put the flame out.

Terrific stuff. My first shipment came fast, second not as fast. Very fine, burns well, reacts strongly to magnet, doesn't tarnish as quickly as I thought.
