Yes, Indoor Pest Control will kill flying ants by contact when sprayed directly. When sprayed and left to dry it will repel them from that area for 2-3 days on average.

Does it leave a stain on the wall ?

No. The spray does not leave a stain. If you spray too much, it will puddle and dry with a tint of color. That should wash off.
