I was aware of the smell for at least 36 hours and avoided the room as much as possible until it cleared. It is a mist not a smoke so does not leave any visible vapour. I would use this again. I noticed after this that there were one or two stragglers still flying so have used a second bomb to finish the job. I am now awaiting the result. Since using we have still found a few, but I think it must be almost impossible to completely eradicate the darned things when you have three cats coming and going all the time.
