works to aerate
easy to use and very sturdy. I as surprised for the cost how durable it is. the plugs come out automatically too so no digging in the pins. moderate weight but it wont bother you.

Works fine
Feels sturdy. I like that it does some aeration and some coring. Obviously you are not going to cover much area by doing10 inches at a time. Works fine for small spots. The coring pegs do fill with dirt that is difficult and annoying to remove. If I tried to use it for a long time to cover more area, I would definitely get a bruise on my knee from hitting the handle. Works great for small areas and is easy to use, but certainly not perfect

Not Smooth
Stuck sometimes and need push hard into the ground. Soil may block the hole.

Great tool. Was skeptical with price. Did a full 800sqft yard with it - no warp
So this tool was actually amazing. If your yard is super compacted you need to soak the yard first. The people whose tools broke either did not water it or they are extremely overweight because I barely watered a highly compacted clay rich soil and the tool had no bend. So yeah I recommend this one. I’m a sucker for great design so buying something that is low in price is often iffy for me. The tool that comes with it is a bonus. The only part of the design id fix is the rounded out bar you have to push down on into a flat bar. But other than that excellent quality tool. Without breaking the bank. They all come from china anyway might as well save some money.

Cheap, Terrible Product!
I bought this item in June 2024, but I did not use it until today (4/12/2025). As I started using it today, it worked well, and I was pleased with it. However, the longer I used it, I began to have problems. I had to repeatedly tighten the nuts on the four screws because they kept coming loose. So, I took the nuts off and put on lock-washers. That allowed me to go longer without having to stop and tighten the nuts, but it didn't completely solve the problem. I noticed that the bottom 10" of the device began to try to bend as I put my foot down to drive it into the ground. Tightening the nuts helped to some degree. THEN, after about 2 hours of use today, the handle down near the prongs broke completely in two!!! That was unfixable!! The metal is thin and cheap, and this is worthless. I tried to find a way to contact Hersche, but there is no trace of it anywhere. I tried to contact the Amazon customer service to find out how to contact the company, but that is an exercise in futility. I strongly suggest that you not buy this product based on my experience today.

Nice aeration tool
This tool was sturdy and worked as described. Best for a small area especially if soil is really compacted. Clean out tool was helpful and needed as well.

Not worth it
Not efficient as we thought and if not using properly it might result into injury

Well built! But ground surface needs to be soft enough to puncture.
Well built but waiting for ground to get soft because so dry here that I can stand on it and it doesn't go in ground. Like I said ground needs to be moist enough to puncture the ground and cores will come out.
