Overall a very good machine with only a few negatives
Have had for 2.4 years in regular use of all its modes overall is an excellent machine with good build quality ease of use and versatility some of the bad reviews seem outside of my experience with this device especially regarding build quality and power like anything with multiple features which can be used in combination you have to learn how to use it it is however very versatile and all the modes cook very effectively and powerfully in combination and singly the negatives are these the oven led light is very dim the control panel is not lit so can be hard to see individual buttons when in oven mode you have to use the tray so the overall internal size is reduced

Excellent oven
When I bought this oven I thought I wouldn't use all its features. I was wrong as they are all useful. We recently move houses and had to rely on this as our very only oven available until we sort out the kitchen, and it's been a Godsend. It can do everything you need, to superb quality. I made sure I came back to leave this review after over a year owning the oven.

DO NOT BUY THIS.
DO NOT BUY THIS. Within just 4 months... โข Steam mode. Steam escapes door. Door does not close tightly. All the steam escapes. You cannot use the steam function. โข Microwave mode. Often will stop mid-way. Perhaps it thinks the door is opening, because the door is absolute garbage and even lets steam escape. It stops suddenly, unexpectedly, before timer completes. Not every time, but often, you need to give food 3 or 4 attempts before you get all the way through a timer. โข Oven mode. Pre-heats but does not work as an over afterwards. Oven mode is broken. Oven mode does not work at all. Don't bother trying to use oven mode. โข Grill mode. Does not always work. Very very slow, not very hot. Its like a grill in slow motion. THE SELLER - TRIBAL UK - DENY ALL OF THE ABOVE. I sent in for replacement when I noticed issue one above. They said it was within specification and sent me another exactly the same. Guess what. Its not within specification and clearly was an early fault which developed into the massive list of problems I have to deal with above. TRIBAL UK SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES. Completely refusing to replace it within 6 months window, breaking UK trade laws! They are meant to solve issue if a fault occurs within first 6 months. TRIBAL UK ARE HAPPY TO BREAK THE LAW. When I mentioned this law to them, it took a long drawn out fight with them to accept responsibility and they basically still refused by insisting I wait long periods for them to "repair" it and demanding expensive packaging requirements. They are far happier to shove me over to Panasonic warranty, who are utterly useless as Panasonic warranty shove me over to some 3rd party with terrible reviews who take weeks and weeks to respond and I doubt will fix anything. I even tried a claim and even that didn't help me. So thats Tribal, Panasonic and others all giving me the finger and telling me to go screw myself with a ยฃ320 paper weight. Thanks a lot, all of you, you utter scumbags.

Good product would recommend
Gave 1 star less only because I find the panacrunch hard to clean and cannot brown unless I change to grill. My previous oven didn't need this as the second shelf had the room to take the crock pot so it was inearer the top and on the shelf I used foil which caught grease and any fat which you could then just throw away leaving the shelf clean. Other than these issues I love it, easy to use, opens up like a proper oven, good looking and the rest easy to clean. Would still recommend.

It's good, with a few annoyances and features not as described.
Bought this July 2016 to replace a small Daewoo microwave that died after 4 years, and to use in the summer so we can turn off the Aga that turns the kitchen into a sauna in the warmer months. It does that job well, apart from not having a hob, but it doesn't claim to so I can't fault it for that! It's a powerful microwave, so reheats things rather quickly. The oven works well although takes a little while to preheat. The grill works well but can sometimes overdo things on the automatic settings, so we found that we got better results choosing times manually. And the steamer is brilliant, cooking fish or chicken pieces and kebabs while still keeping them moist, which is difficult to do in any conventional oven (which needs foil to achieve), it's just not a quick way of cooking and you need to keep an eye on the water level as it's a small tank and will need refilling during cooking. However, it's on combination settings that this thing really proves its worth, for example I tried a pizza and it did a perfect job, better than the Aga. And the "Panacrunch" settings are great, which primarily cooks with the grill but also heats the Panacrunch tray with low power microwaves, thus grilling from underneath. I was a bit sceptical, but it works. The auto settings tell you on the display whether to use the upper or lower tray slot. Another great feature is that there's no turntable. Again I was sceptical because I've used microwaves in the past that don't have them, and they all cooked or re-heated things unevenly but this Panasonic is very even indeed, quite a surprise. As things don't spin round in the oven it means you can fit larger things inside than you would otherwise. So, the minor annoyances that lose it a star. Firstly, the timer beeper is stupidly quiet. If you're in the same room but have kids or the dishwasher is on (even a quiet one), you won't hear it beep. If you're in the next room, you won't hear it beep, even with perfect hearing. So you end up having to set a kitchen timer or a phone timer to tell you when the time is up. Or you can listen out for the fan stopping, but that continues for a few minutes after the cooking has finished so it's not accurate. Compare that to my Miele washing machine, which I can hear at the opposite end of the house when it beeps! Secondly, it looks like it has a piece missing: looking at the sides, there is the drip tray on the left and the water tank on the right, but behind them is nothing, just a space created by the ground clearance of this oven on its feet. So it looks like there's some trim missing, but there isn't. It's just odd. Finally, although the lack of turntable is great for having more space when microwaving, the instructions say NOT to place items for conventional cooking directly on the oven floor, you MUST use the provided Panacrunch tray on either the lower or upper tray position. You can place a dish on top of the tray, but it may not sit flat and of course you lose much in height when using the tray runners. So a tagine, for example, just wouldn't work if you follow the instructions (which we do). So it won't feed a large family with, for example, a roast dinner but I could imagine that a single person or a couple could probably get by with just this oven on its own. Although a separate hob would be handy as well. The internal light isn't very bright so it can be somewhat difficult to see how the cooking is progressing. Finally, again a very minor point but the instruction book's cooking times are initially baffling in the way that they are organised into sections, until you get used to it. It tells you how best to cook various different foods, i.e. on which setting and for how long and on which 'shelf' runners which is great, although it does seem to be missing some obvious foods. So not perfect, but pretty close. I just wish they'd turn up the beeper volume! UPDATE: having had it just over a year now, I have downgraded it to 3 stars because one feature advertised on the Amazon page doesn't exist, and one is misleading. 1. Panasonic claims (in "From the Manufacturer section) that without a turntable, it has 29% more cooking space and the nice photo shows a cooking pot on the floor of the oven. Well yes, but only on microwave cooking, because what you find out after purchase is that cookware must not be placed on the floor of the oven during conventional or combination cooking, as the shelf must be used, which much reduces the available height. And the photo? It seems to show an impossible use case, with a non-microwaveable pot being used on the floor of the oven. Which isn't allowed. 2. The Amazon description says that "The built-in sensor means that there is no need to weigh the food". This isn't true. There isn't a sensor on this model. There is on the Chinese market version (it's mentioned in the manual, which you can find online), but not for the UK market. The word "sensor" doesn't exist in the UK manual. There is an auto cook feature, but you MUST enter the weight. This is even confirmed on this same page under the "from the manufacturer" section, which says "Auto Cooking is the easiest way to get your cooking started. Simply select Auto from the menu, set the weight of the food and press start". Yeah - enter the weight. The cooking time is calculated, it's not based on the sensor picking up steam or IR radiation. This is a little annoying, because I did partly base the decision to buy this model on these features.
