How well does this work for removing the motherboard screws on the Xbox One controller?

I used it to change my MacBook Pro mid2010's HDD to SSD. For that it was great. I imagine it to work great with your Xbox controller.

Are there instructions for using this anywhere? I can't get it to fit in my Macbook Pro and don't notice any difference when pushing down on the red.

I have never seen instructions for operating a torx driver. I always use it like a screw driver: insert and turn it. Maybe you have vandal resistant torx screws (with a protrusion in the middle of the area where the driver goes to keep a regular driver from working). They make torx drivers for vandal resistant screws too.

Is the tip strong enough to use to remove the screws from knife scales.

what's the difference between a T6 a 40mm and 60 mm screwdriver? I need the screwdriver to remove my pocket knife pocket clip.

The only difference is the blade/shank length (metal portion sticking out of plastic handle). One is 40mm and the other is 60mm. The tip of each T6 screwdriver will be the same.
