Good quality replacement

I like these a lot! Nice display stand, although it takes up a surprising amount of room lengthways. Knives are comfortable to use, sharp out of the box. First test was slicing a potato into thin crisps, handled that easily. Can't comment on how long they'll remain sharp, but that's what sharpeners are for. So far, nice little set at a decent price. They're not going to replace a set of professional chef knives, but for your average kitchen they're perfectly good.

Not wanting to spend a fortune on professional knives, I purchased this, and i have been highly impressed with this set. Sharp, comfortable fit, well balanced. Wouldhsve no problem recommend these for the advanced amateur,

This knife set is well balanced in the hand, without being heavy. Very sharp and a good range, they are the perfect home cook's set. Not professional chef standard, perhaps, but will last a lifetime for home use, if looked after. The lazy-Susan style stand is useful, easy to see through so you grab the right knife for the job and easy to keep clean too.

As a chef I’ve used similar knives all my working life. This set are for a gift however I can still highly recommend knives from this manufacturer. They keep their edge if sharpened regularly and will last many years.

I've had these for two years now. On the plus side they have retained their sharpness well. The down sides are some of the knives are starting to show rust spots and some of the handles are showing distortion.

We bought a kitchen knife from the Sabatier range and we were really impressed so we decided to buy this set to go with it. The knives are as advertised, light weight, easy to use and have a comfortable handle to use. I have problems with grip but I can use these knives easily but beware they are very sharp as they should be. Would highly recommend.

The description of these knives as being razor sharp is certainly no hyperbole. The first time I used one of them I was happily multi-tasking i.e. on the phone & chopping carrots; the outcome was a very bleedy finger. That'll teach me... This is a great set of knives at a very decent price with handles that provide a good grip, although the fact that they are so lightweight may not appeal to everyone.
