The chips (which is what I purchased this set for) are excellent value for money. I decided against buying a set with the printed values as that adds about $20 to the cost (when reviewing other sets as well). I was surprised how heavy the set is. The only negative I'd note is the case. It didn't arrive damaged per se, and does hold the chips in their slots just fine but I have to say the case isn't the greatest quality. Indeed, the trim on the edges was already slightly buckled in a couple of places. Nothing major and certainly does NOT detract from it's usage as a storage case, it's just not as strong as perhaps it could be. None the less, the locks, hinges, handle etc all seem sturdy enough to hold the contents. After all I didn't buy it for the case, I bought it for the chips themselves and those are very nice indeed. Per another review, I printed out a sheet with the colors on with the values we will use so also a reason I was not in favor of chips with printed values stamped on them. Overall, very impressed and satisfied with the quality of my purchase.

Overall, I like this item. I was a little leery of the odd shape; the chips don’t all line up with a single color per row. We’ll see how that goes. The case itself is sturdy. I expect it to be durable. That’s why I bought this set. There’s an egg-carton liner in the top lid that keeps things in place. Unfortunately, it’s not glued in place, so it falls down all the time. The chips themselves are injection molded. There is a bit of color inaccuracy in the chips themselves where the colors touch, but the biggest issue is there the center of each chip is not consistent. So, game quality is high, but aesthetically, it leaves a little to be desired. I assume that the way these are made is that the main color is pumped into a cylindrical mold and then the white is pumped in. When the whole thing cools, the center discolors for some reason. Then, they cut the plastic tube into slices creating the chips. The other potential reason is that the cutting process heat isn’t consistent, causing the middle to discolor slightly. Overall, the quality is just ok. I like that the case shape is more square, and I can live with the egg-crate flopping around. It’s just the chips; a little more care in the manufacturing may be able to address this issue. It it bothers you, maybe look at clay chips, though those have issues as well.
