Excellent wood saw
The saw is excellent to small jobs. It cuts on the back stroke, it is very sharpe and the blade is very, very flexible. Blade is detached from the handle with ease. Itโs a pity that replacement blades are not more readily available, I am collecting too many useless handles.

Laser cut
I don't often leave reviews because 9 out of 10 times I am underwhelmed by my purchase. This saw on the other hand exceeded all expectations, a joy to use, making fine straight cuts a breeze. All you need to do is take your time and don't hack at the timber as if you were using a first fix English blade. I would not have been able to get such a fine cut with a machine and that is what I wanted. Truly amazing and very impressed.

Great little saw with hundreds of uses in and around the home.
Within 10 minutes of receiving the dovetail pullsaw I was wondering how I had ever lived without it! So far I've used it to saw some flooring around a waste pipe, cut a hole out of a piece of plasterboard and cut through a downpipe when installing our new water butt. The list I have for this little saw is getting longer and longer and it's fast becoming one of my essential diy tools. As you would expect from the description the blade is very flexible and it works best when used gently to saw with otherwise it bends and wobbles all over the place and you're likely to do yourself and the blade some damage if not used with care. Its a nice, inexpensive tool to have and I am already looking to purchase some more tools in the Irwin range.

Super accurate, clean cutting
Speedy delivery, enthusiastic amateur just using it for jobs Where accuracy is important, cuts much cleaner than my irwin tenon saw. Iโm a fan of Irwin tools and this saw doesnโt disappoint, only one thing to note and itโs not a fault of the saw, is that I have to keep reminding myself that itโs not a tenon saw and the blade is super fine, can โbuckleโ if too enthusiastic. Good value, I may at some point in time treat myself to one of the more expensive saws just to make a comparison

Donโt push too hard or you will buckle the blade!
Excellent little saw, gives you an excellent cut in the majority of woods. The flexibility of the saw gives you a far straighter cut because of the pulling action.

Very sharp and effective, small kerf, neat edge
I just remembered to leave this review as I'm currently making a small mitre box, touched a saw tooth and now I'm bleeding. This comes incredibly sharp, it rips through wood like you wouldn't believe. Pull saws take a bit of getting used to but I'm beginning to reach for one first nowadays as they're so accurate and quick. This saw leaves a lovely clean edge and with care it's no problem to use it as a standard saw. It takes very little effort or pressure to saw - in fact the teeth are so sharp and aggressive that you'd be likely to get stuck or break a tooth if you did apply too much force. The only criticism I have is that the handle is light plastic and doesn't offer much in the way of grip. Used properly you actually don't need much grip but still, it's not of the same quality as the blade. Overall though I wouldn't be without it and will definitely buy another as needed.

Japanese Pull Saw
This Saw was excellent. I bought it to assist in installing some stairs. Cutting spindles and Newel posts with confidence of a straight cut gave great peace of mind that I was not going to ruin very expensive pieces of oak timber. I am amazed that if required it will take off a slither of 1/2mm from a 90mm square newel post and leave the finished product as if it had been machine made! Well worth the money, and it has so many uses. It did take a bit of getting used to, as it cuts on the pull,so some practice was required but when that had been achieved, a MUCH better cut than a tenon. I have now finished the stairs, and the blade shows no signs of wear at all.

Super little saw
Very sharp and useful for numerous jobs. Don't be fooled by its size and low price, as it is incredibly sharp and lasts well. I have used to do accurate small cuts and it cuts cleanly and quickly using the pull action, which you soon get accustomed to. Gets where larger saws won't and has a flexibility which enables cuts that larger more rigid saws can't perform. Wouldn't be without one now.
