Not blackout. *by K***N on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 27 April 2019* These are lovely curtains. They look lovely and the colours are rich, but they are not black out. They make it much darker, certainly, but in both the rooms I bought them for, we've had to use our travel blackouts to make the rooms dark enough for the kids to sleep. Since the whole point of buying these was so we could stop having to add the travel blackouts, they are not very impressive. If you only need slightly darker rooms and not actual blackout then they do look really lovely. They are a soft thick material that is really lightweight so don’t require heavyweight curtain rail. The material blocks any light filtering through. I took a chance and I am so glad I did!The video attached shows how they really do darken the room massively. His old ones I thought were ok but these beat them hands down in comparison.They’re easy to put up as pencil pleat (taped) or can be added to a pole.
