Doesn't deter arrogant wasps! *by R***. on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 22 August 2015* I bought this curtain to deter wasps which seem intent on sharing my accommodation. Unfortunately this morning I stood and watched as two wasps landed on strands of the curtain, crawled round to the inside, and came in. After waving my arms around like a madman the wasps returned to the curtain and made their exit in the same way. This curtain clearly doesn't prevent wasps gaining access although it may deter more timid flies. Of course if, like me, you have your windows open in the summer then a curtain on the door isn't going to help a great deal.That said, this is a nice decorative curtain and of good quality. The strands are fairly close together at the top where they leave the main material but tend to stick together towards the bottom so the gaps between the strands widen.
