They are bright and do not get hot like the halogen ones. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Dimmer than expected and may not fit your fixture without modification. Nice and cool. *by A***T on December 8, 2023* I bought the warm color. It's dimmer than I expected for the claimed 400LM. Still a nice retrofit given it does not use much electric and NOT HOT like the quartz bulb it replaced. I had to modify the lamp reflector with a Dremel tool and files to get the bulb to fit as it's larger in diameter than the quartz bulb it replaced. It hopefully will last a long time but then I had to buy 5 so I have spares.
