Storage Expansion Kit Compatible With Fire TV Stick, FireStick 4K, Replacement for Toshiba Samsung TV, 3-in-1 SD Card Reader File Transfer OTG Cable for Firesticks, Media Devices, Micro SD

We go to Canada every year and it’s just too expensive to afford their Wi-Fi up there so what I do as I use this to copy my TV shows here in the states and then take them to Canada and I’m able to watch them on my laptop

I bought this product because our Firestick is constantly asking us to remove apps due to storage space. Honestly, we don’t use a ton of Apps and we don’t download any content. So, I was hopeful that this would be a solution to the problem. However, not many apps that we use could be added to the expandable memory. I feel like it was my fault for not reading the fine print. This was an “it’s 4 am and I can’t sleep” type of purchase- so, I didn’t give it a thorough read before I added it to my cart. However, the product is compact and it doesn’t have a ton of wires sticking out or hanging down from our TV- which is a definite plus. Oh, and since I’ve gotten it, the Firestick does not display those annoying warnings anymore that ask us to delete apps and free up space. So that is another plus. So, it’s a good product and I’m sure it works in some way to expand the memory, but it wasn’t what I thought I was buying and that’s on me.

Well as I mentioned no Freeking instructions, and a search did not help much. But with some fooling around with hook up options I did get it to format the SD card and it seems to be working.

We have to face it, we download too many apps, surf too many shows, and quickly fill up our memory. Once you reach that level you are faced with a show stalling mid-stream, or even have an issue where the voices and picture don't seem synced up with one another. When this happened once before we upgraded to a higher FireStick and it fixed our problem for awhile, but we started getting the warnings again. With this expansion kit we were able to use a SD card or Thumb drive to expand the memory / storage and resume watching our programs without interruption. Highly recommended and a great value as it expands your memory and allows you to resume streaming uninterrupted.

I have a FireStick 4K. I have the interface for power and wired network. Works great. When I installed this cable to get additional storage I lost the wired network and the storage device doesn't work. It's recognized. formatted but doesn't show as external storage. Don't buy.

The kit does what it does, provides a path or link between the Firetv stick and the storage media, the SD card. However, both kit and Firetv has a mind of its own and works sometimes and sometimes it doesn't. Also, if you move files or apps after you format for Firetv such apps may or may not work. Unreliable IMO.

Works perfectly

Exactly what I needed to extend the battery life and storage to my camera. Great value for a simple item that was needed.

If your not tech savvy can be a bit of a pain setting up. After which seems to work as extra memory but for the life of me still haven’t managed to install/save anything on it from my firestick 🥺

perfeito

GERÄT KLAPPT SO WIE ES SOLL SCHNELLE LIEFERUNG DANKESCHÖN

Amazon never ceases to amaze. Firestick memory was full so needed to add memory. Visited several big box "Electronic" stores for an OTG cable and a memory card. Not one had it. Off to AMAZON which had both. Ordered at 6PM with delivery by noon the next. Both products ere excellent.
