This is a lovely butter crock and was a wonderful gift

Well packed, arrived in good order. Ran it through the dishwasher before using- came out fine. Easy to pack with butter, inner water line marking on the the inside of the base makes it simple to out in the right amount of water (I use a little less to minimize drips). Butter stays spreadable. I use block butter so I’m not sure exactly how much the crock holds, looks like it might be around one stick.

Works perfectly.....so much healthier than using a butter tray and leaving it on the counter. It's a healthy way to have "soft butter" available at all times.

There is a water line in the butter container which you do have to fill. I got lazy one time and emptied the water and refilled the butter and didn't refill the water. . . . Mold.(within a week) Anytime i've had water in there, perfect. This may be obvious, but rather than test it yourself, let my experience save you a stick of butter. You could probably fit 2 full sticks inside of this, but I usually put one. I was worried about water getting all up in my butter but it really isn't an issue. If you're worried that much you can take it out, and tap it on a paper towel so it doesn't drip. It's pretty sturdy ( I wouldn't throw it across the room or drop it...) But normal washing, dinging, and clinking around seems fine (no chips) I wash mine in the dishwasher and haven't had any issues. Great color, good gift, or splurge for yourself.

Only giving 1 star so I can leave a comment. Please please do not purchase anything from the seller. I was not happy with the way the butter tasted after leaving it in the crock. I’ve always left my butter out on the counter and it’s tasted fine, but leaving it in this water for some reason, just didn’t taste good to me. So I sent the product back via UPS with the label that the shipper provided me. Somehow the package got lost never made it back to the seller. I have proof of dropping the package off ups they still will not refund my purchase amount because the package was lost apparently. Just trying to warn people this is a third-party seller that is not living up to Amazon standards. Beware.

Love this butter bell! The le creuset design is a classic and it’s a kitchen must have! Keeps butter soft and fresh. This would make for a great gift, too! I’d highly recommend

High quality product, makes the butter room temperature and ready to spread at all times. Easy to clean and doesn’t scratch. Just don’t forget to change the water every 2 days for a fresh taste
