Cleans tapeheads very well.
Work absolutely great for cleaning reel to reel and cassette deck heads. Cleared up what I thought was lousy tape recording in just 2 cleanings.

Buy regular Isopropyl Alcohol (aka isopropanol, aka propan-2-ol) instead
Turns out this is just 65% isopropyl alcohol. Yup, like you would buy from the drugstore for a dollar. It works great for cleaning stuff, but it's quite pricey. Current price for this: $12.10 for 4.2 ounces. Current price for Amazon Basics 99% IPA: $7.11 for 16 ounces. That works out to be about $1.86 for 4.2 ounces

Worked as described
I left a tape in the path, so all the rollers were discolored. This and some q-tips worked perfectly to make the rollers look like new
