Review: Superb quality - I have encountered my worse SI Joint inflammation yet leading to sciatica which prompted me to finally purchase one of these lower back/tailbone belt. I also did a test by purchasing this product and another one that had looked similar and way more cheaper. The cheapest version arrived earlier and I wrapped this around for 10 minutes standing, but the belt did not help my sciatica - numbed thighs, I felt discomfort and more numbed, I didn’t think it was the product itself, I just thought that these belt are another one of those gimmicky buys and took the belt off. This ActivePlay version arrived the next day but due to the experience of trying the cheaper version the night before, I assumed this would be the same experience; numbing, tight and discomfiting - not my preference. I put this PlayActive one for what I thought would have been only 10 minutes and held no expectations… I wore this belt and (with slow steadiness) was able to do some light task for a further 30 minutes. The next morning, to double check the test for both belts, I wore the cheaper version again and feel unsteady trying to stand up right to brush my teeth (I give up and sit on the side of my bath for support) and then swap for the PlayActive version and my lower back feels secure. Comparison: The appearance of both do look the same except for PlayActive’s belt inner grips are slightly thicker, meaning more gripping, more resistant so, more secure. Which is why my lower back seems more secure. I was keen to return this product and was hoping the cheaper version could work but I took the sensible option: the comfort, less pain, slightly more mobile and at ease, this one is a winner.

Bought this belt for my wife after a spine consultant suggested it. It's not a cure but it definitely helps with mobility and stability. It has given her the confidence she needed to give her a bit more independence to do things on her own. She is really pleased with it.
