I initially tried this to replace the Becca brand primer I had used for so many years and loved. They stopped making it. I like this even better! The green tube, blurring primer for face with SPF 30, goes on silky smooth and some days I don’t even bother to put foundation on over this it looks so good. It looks soft and natural. I have this in the white tube which is the mattifying version , but on my aging skin I prefer this. Excellent product and I am a big fan of this brand

This works really well! I have naturally “rosy” cheeks and I don’t like to wear heavy makeup. I sweat and tend to be oily in my T-zone and my makeup runs by the end of the day. I am very impressed with the redness correction and how well this primer holds my foundation. It doesn’t feel heavy and there is no real fragrance. The consistency isn’t too thick and it spreads well. I’m very curious to see how well it works as we head into summer.

I like how lightweight this sunscreen feels on the skin. It blends in smoothly, adds moisture, and leaves a soft brightening effect without feeling heavy. It works well as part of my daily skincare routine before makeup.

Medium coverage. Good for dry skin. I apply on hands and face. Helps to hide imperfections. Not completely but I did noticed an improvement. I let it dry a bit. Sometimes I use a personal fan to dry it faster. Then I apply pressed or loose powder on top using a large makeup brush. Helps cover and blend more. I have it in my subscribe and save and will continue to use it.

I bought this because I was looking for something to prime my skin and help with redness, preferably comparable to Il Makiage. This is not your ordinary primer, this is a cream base going on somewhat whiteish green and blending to skin color vs. the gel/silicone types we are all used to. The texture is nice but more like a moisturizer type feel, and it really showcased my pores. I gave it three stars for removing redness well, but sadly not a “primer” to me.

I use this daily. It’s my favorite primer. Lasts all day, my makeup goes on smooth and it doesn’t settle into my fine lines. It’s not greasy a very light weight. Sometimes I just put this on and no makeup. I love that it also has suns on it.

I have large pores and redness. I have tried so many expensive primers, but this primer is the best I’ve ever tried! My makeup is flawless all day and my redness is kept at bay! I work in a very hot and home environment too, but my makeup is on point all day with this primer. Highly recommend

For the price it’s definitely worth it! Definitely blurred lines and pores, make up goes on smooth, decent amount in bottle and no break outs on my sensitive skin, win win for me!

Throughout my lifetime both as a consumer and a professional MUA, I have used many a face primer. From the very high end, to drug store and everything in between, I’ve experienced them all. The Elizabeth Mott primer in Illuminating is one of the best I have experienced. It’s not glittery, leaves just enough of a glow that it’s not overtly noticeable like a highlighter, smells fresh like skincare and not chemicals, and best of all actually works well. I personally have a combination skin type that can get oily but also dry and flaky; the Illuminating primer works very well in hydrating and evening the skin, leaving the face looking fresh and youthful and does not emphasize any dryness or fine lines. This is a very well rounded and versatile primer for many.

Keeps my makeup in place for a good 8 hours. I get a really oily T-zone so I use this in conjunction with powder and finishing spray as well then blot throughout the day. It works better than the Inisfree sebum control primer for me. I really like the texture on my skin its very soft and light and creates a nice base for makeup. I mainly use this for stage makeup, it seems to hold up well even under spotlight.

This was supposed to be a “skin friendly product” and got it after reading all the good reviews.I used this for a few days and my face broke out, wasn’t sure if it was because of this. I stopped using it for a week or so and my face calmed down. Then tried using it again and now my face is a complete mess, pimples and whiteheads everywhere.

I'm trying a few primers at the moment as I seem to need them now to stop foundation from flaking. This is definitely a good one. It smooths easily into the skin and is a nice texture. I'm likely to buy it again.
