Great case for my phone. Wanted case that had magnetic backing and this is working perfectly.

I originally only got this case as a backup, but it has held up better than expensive name brand cases. Having Parkinsons I drop my phone at least 5 times a day, and have broke many cases. The raised corners on this cover has saved my screen (that currently doesn't have a screen protector). The magnet is nice and strong and works great with magsafe products. After over a month, no signs of yellowing despite my cigarette smoke and having a white phone.

I ordered a number of cases to try out on my Pixel Pro 7. I ended up sending this one back, but it was a hard choice. The case looked very nice, allowing the beauty of my phone to show through the clear plastic (or whatever it is). I did not notice any yellowing, although obviously I didn't use it or have it for any length of time. The magnet placement allows for the Google logo to show. I'm not huge on logos, but I suppose it could help differentiate your phone from others on a counter. It's definitely better than only partially obscuring it. I liked the extra bumpers on the corners. The Pixel 7 Pro is a big, heavy phone, so I feel like the more softer case material you can have on corners to absorb the energy of a drop, the better. The phone is too big to slip into slim pockets anyway, so I don't worry about bumpers sticking out slightly. The magnet was super strong! I tried it out on a magnetic tripod mount and even with the weight of the Pixel 7 Pro, that phone was in no danger of falling off! I think that could be a really useful feature. Ultimately, though, I don't have many magnetic accessories, and I wanted to prioritize protection. If you look at the product pictures for this case, you'll see that the top/bottom edges of the case are raised significantly to protect the screen, but the sides are flush with the screen or possibly a tiny bit lower (to allow for accessing the curved edge of the phone). I ended up keeping this other case by Crave (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B9HXP2SQ?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details) whose side edges came up a bit higher but still allow access to the curved edge, and whose clear plastic is a bit thicker and (I hope) will offer some additional protection. If you're looking for a thinner clear case with magnets, this one should do the trick for you.

They designed this case the right way. The circle of magnets is placed perfectly so that it does not interfere with the Pixel Stand charger. A previous one was not aligned correctly and was making the phone freak out and open apps randomly. It sticks to Magsafe car vent mounts very strongly (like this one - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CGHN1H1G?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1). As for the case itself, I like it because it is slimmer than the Otterbox clear case I purchased, but appears to provide similar protection. It was a little more than some other options, but worth it if you want something that doesn't interfere with Pixel Stand chargers.

This fit my Pixel 7 pro perfectly. i already have a magnetic phone holder in my car and though i was prepared to have to buy a new one to work with this case, I didn't have to; it holds just fine onto the not fancy Nato mount i got from Amazon years ago! Just have to be sure it's in the right spot for max hold. As a bonus, it also works great with both my pixel stand and Samsung Qi chargers. The case has held up really well so far after a month of use and abuse. (its been dropped a few times, ugh) No scratches, breakage or discoloration yet, though i would gladly purchase another if it came to that. It's doing its job and looking good while doing so.

I recently grabbed the MAKAVO magnetic case (MagSafe compatible, slim hard back) for my Pixel 7 Pro hoping for a sleek protective option — and while it looks good initially, there are too many issues to ignore. The hard back finish has a nice sheen and the case fits the phone well with clean cutouts. The slim profile is attractive and didn’t add much bulk, which I appreciated. On that front, the design choices are definitely appealing. However, the more I used it, the more I noticed compromise after compromise — hence the two-star rating. First, the magnetic hold, while present, isn’t very strong. I noticed my MagSafe accessories were less stable than with higher-quality cases; one mount detached from the hold during a minor jostle in my bag. Second, protection seems lacking: the hard back scratches easily and the corners, while slightly reinforced, still allowed scuffs to sneak in when I set the phone down on rougher surfaces. The drop protection feels minimal. Lastly, after a few weeks of moderate use, the finish already showed tiny cracks and scuffs near the ports — not what you want from a case meant for daily protection. In short: If you care most about looks and keeping a slim profile, the MAKAVO case delivers on those fronts. But if you prioritize strong MagSafe magnetic stability, robust protection, or long-term durability, this case doesn’t meet those needs. I’d recommend looking at something more premium if you carry your phone often, use mounts regularly, or want real protection.

Case is fine but buy another brand. This one is too thin around the sides and offer little to no protection for your screen. Worse is the magnet in the back. I have a strong wallet attachment and it does not stay put. Slides around very easily. I test 3 different other clear cases with magnets and the others do not have this problem.
