Excellent Attic Hatch Latch
I used this on the inside of my Louisville AA2210 pull down aluminum attic ladders in case the gas springs get weak or fail it won't set off our alarm system, since it has a contact sensor. Attached the original rope and washer to this latch's very convenient ring and it unlatches beautifully when I pull the rope. I'd upload an image, but for some reason amazon kicks me out of reviews when I attach an image or video.

These were awesome. I used them on a hidden door bookcase. They worked perfect to attach a cable to a book to open

Excellent Latch For Cabinet Doors
This spring loaded latch is of good quality and was easy to install. Both the screws (4 pcs) and striker plate were included in the box. The latch assembly worked perfectly for my purposes.

nice quality
Nice quality I'm using for a custom baby gate in the home but it is sturdy enough for a big garden gate outside.

Nice latch, but has rust spots after 2 months outside
I am using this for a fence gate in a specialized situation where the latch can only be at the bottom. It works well for that and is small but still a heavy duty product. Although I am happy with its performance, I have noticed rust spots on it after about 2 months. If it was really suitable for outdoors, there definitely should be zero rust after such a short time. Probably a good choice only for indoor use.
