Ring Small Solar Panel (USB-C), 1.9W for Spotlight Cam Plus and Spotlight Cam Pro, White

Great little accessory. I purchased the additional guttering mount with my Stick Up Cam 2 which then made this solar panel incredibly easy to install. In an afternoon of early March North East UK intermittent sunshine, it charged the battery by 10%.

So we fitted this to an outdoor ring camera outside our static caravan in Cumbria last March. We assumed it would become challenging during the winter months as the temps are regularly below -7 overnight. The battery was at 100% early December, it is now at 73% so really impressed with how this has performed. We fitted it at ground level on the decking so it wouldn’t be affected by high winds and keeps the battery pretty much at 95% or over during the summer months. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

This panel is truly amazing. I've had and have lots of solar powered products from decorative lights to floodlights and they all have the same problem, they can capture and retain power while it's sunny!! The problem there is that when the nights draw in, you have a much shorter light hours and hence the power isn't there when you need it. This panel is completely different amd so much better. I have it connected to my outdoor ring stick up cam and its doing an amazing job. Even with motion tracking and constant lapse record, the battery is still being charged by the solar panel to 100% every day (and we're in the shortest days period). Obviously the battery drops lower than it did in summer as there are more night hours, but it's still at 100% before sundown. The panel was really easy to fit, it came with everything you need to get it installed and the instruction booklet is easy to follow with online videos if you do get stuck. It really was plug and play, the network connection was easy and so far its been faultless. I would fully recommend this as an alternative to wired, it's less hassle.and a lot less unsightly.

Been in use for about a month, purchased may 2026..keeps outdoor cam charged.will update later if performance drops off later in the year when we get shorter days sunlight.

So far so good! Battery on Ring camera was draining ridiculously fast (lasting way less time than Ring would have you believe!), but now this is keeping it charged well. It's very small so not obtrusive, connection was simple, and with some sunny days camera battery is now a constant 90 - 100%, so all good.

Very good solar panel, would recommend

Most Ring products work reasonably well. Beware of the solar panels. I bought 2 to power outdoor cameras. One failed almost immediately, and after several tedious contacts with the Ring Call Centre the agent agreed to replace the panel. The new solar panel works. The 2nd solar panel failed. I contacted the call center. Naturally, there is a long retesting procedure, which is a bit of a high-wire act with ladders, phones, agents, etc. The Ring Call Center Runaround is poor. I gave up and purchased a generic panel, which is cheaper and works. It's no doubt a manufacturing issue but as a customer I felt a sense of guilt when speaking to the read-from-a-cue-card crowd at Ring, who lost sight of empathy and customer care.

I recently bought a ring outdoor camera for my back garden. I knew that the camera would be quite high up so instead of climbing up the ladder to keep re-charging the batteries, I bought this solar panel as a recommendation. When it was installed I didn't tilt it properly, but after I did, voila, it worked. It went from 76% to 100% in direct sunlight. Really happy I don't have to keep charging the battery myself. I would say keep checking your battery percentage when you install it. If it's not at 100% and there's sunlight you probably need to tilt it. I'm waiting to see how this fairs in winter weather.

J'ai acheté ce petit panneau solaire pour alimenter l'une de mes caméras Ring, et j'en suis extrêmement satisfait. C'est un vrai soulagement au quotidien. Pour donner un ordre d'idée, mes autres caméras de la maison (qui n'ont pas de panneau) se déchargent complètement tous les deux à trois mois, ce qui oblige à chaque fois à les décrocher pour les recharger. Avec ce panneau, celle-ci reste parfaitement autonome et fait le job à 100 %. Il faut être honnête : l’exposition joue beaucoup, et dans mon cas, elle est juste parfaite (plein soleil une bonne partie de la journée). Mais si vous avez un bon emplacement, n'hésitez pas une seconde, le produit est top et évite bien des manipulations !

Acquistato questo pannello solare per alimentare la batteria di una Stick Cam 3 gen e devo dire che è utile e poco ingombrante, rispetto al fratello maggiore da 5 W. Arriva con tutti gli accessori di montaggio e anche l’imballaggio è molto molto accurato.
