Exo Terra Reptile Monsoon Solo Misting System

Does the job well and keeps humidity up in my African Bullfrog enclosure. It does come with a UK plug if you're wondering. I use Car Plan de-ionised water because the manual says de-mineralised water is fine and distilled water is a rip off. Also been told to refill it by taking the lid off instead of using the fill hole because if water gets in the adapter port it'll die. Only problem is the LEDs are way too bright so you have to cover them to see what setting you're on. You can't really see how bright they are in pictures.

Does what is needed. Use it to give a salamander tank a quick mist twice a day, but they seem to prefer the fine mist this produces. Lasts a long time before it needs a refill, and only takes 5min to set up.

Great mister. Can set it on timer for hourly, two hourly etc and it can spray for as long as a minute or two each time. It's brilliant. It saves me keep spraying manually. This produces a very fine mist and it's great. Keeps humidity up good.

I love I love I love. Best thing i have bought for my created gecko. My set up is big and the wires and tube is long enough to extend from the floor to the top of the tank. My little gecko loves it has figured out that it is on a timer and finds a place opposite the spray for a wash/ drink. Would highly recommend

I got this in April 2019 for my dart frog terrarium. It is a nice compact design and seemed well made. However the pressure has always been pretty weak- it could lightly sprinkle half the length of the Vivarium (it is a 24' width) but I thought this was better than nothing for when I go away. I was told I could add another hose to help spray both ends but the pressure is reduced when this happens which I would imagine would make it almost useless so have never done this.After using it I think 5 times (leaving it on a timer for 48 hours to spray while I was away for the weekend) it has become faulty. I came home last weekend to see all the water in the tank had been used up and my terrarium was swamped. The settings were the same as I always had them set and so this shouldn't have happened.My pet store sells tonnes of Exo Terra products but not this. I mentioned it to him and he said this was a known fault of the Exo Terra misters which was why they sold a different brand who only specialises in misting systems. This brand at full RRP is only £40 more than the Exo Terra but is SO much better they are incomparable. I would say you get what you pay for but this was still £90 and not worth half that.I've had to redo my terrarium to get all the water out which was costly and annoying. I will see if Amazon will take this back on a faulty basis. I wouldn't recommend this and suggest going for a better specialist brand. The difference is vast and worth it.

Does what it says on the tin. The reservoir is tiny though and only lasts a day or so, don’t buy this if you need it to last for any duration reliably.However, that aside it’s a good cost effective mister. I liked the varying setting options and the ability to customise it to suit although it’s annoying that every time I want to make a change to the settings the sprayer starts often ending up with a soaked viv so setting have to be changed with the unit uninstalled then reinstalled once set. Irritating but manageable.I found the suction cups are worse than useless but with a bit of tweaking we managed to get ours to fit without them.An ok buy for the money.

I was kind of skeptical in ordering this item but so glad that I did. It was very easy to set up and works better than expected. It does have a bit of a vibrating sound but not at all loud. Now I don’t have to sprits my chameleon or live plants in the terrarium as this does such a great job. Mine is set to cycle every 12 hours for 2 minutes. After 2 minutes, the terrarium looks so beautifully hydrated. No need to worry about moisture or my chameleons water needs, as she drinks off of the plant leaves. This item delivers a nice steady sprits that is not overwhelming or intimidating to the reptile at all. In fact, she tends to slowly crawl towards the source of the monsoon. The only issue I have is remembering to fill the reservoir when it’s low and truth be told, that is not much of an issue. Btw, I have it set to 2 minutes but that is the lowest setting. It can go for a whopping 120 minutes!! That’s insane! Anyway, you will not be sorry about purchasing this item me and Smaug(the chameleon) are plenty happy with it.

Lo uso da sei mesi in un terrario Exo Terra dove ho accolto una bellissima gechina Ciliatus. Selezionando quando e per quanto tempo nebulizzare, non ho mai avuto problemi a mantenere una umidità ottimale. Dopo un po' ho ampliato il sistema con un altro ugello e non ho notato sostanziali cali di pressione (non è comunque consigliabile usare più di due ugelli). Per la mia esperienza lo consiglio. Ne ho appena comperato un altro.
