It's rubbish. I'd bin it and get a better one. Mine blew 3 bulbs in 3 days.

Is this bulb ok for a Basking light, and for a 2ft viv could i get away with just using this bulb alone?

If it is a healthy reptile you could but if it's elderly, juvenile or unhealthy it isn't strong enough. It is a rubbish lamp/bulb. I wouldn't recommend it.
