My Arcade GameStation Wireless HD: Data East Video Game Console with Over 250 Games, DGUNL-4144, Plug and Play

I was hoping these would be upscaled arcade roms. They are at best home ports of arcade roms. The scrolling is horrible. Looks like the NES versions of the games. And apparently I accidentally ordered a different version of the same thing which only connected via AV cables the image is exactly the same these are not arcade ports these are clearly the home ports. It is factually impossible that computer technology which came out in the 21st-century is unable to properly mimic computer technology that came out in the late 20th century.

I bought this on a whim because it features "burger time" "bad dudes" and "heavy barrel" which were all games that I really liked playing on the NES back when I was a kid, but the fun pretty much stops there. This retro gaming device advertised that it features 400 classic arcade games but in reality you only get maybe about 12 games that are actually decent to play and the rest are just unfinished, incomplete, boring, bootlegged, cloned copies that have horrible controls, even worse graphics and music that tortures you with the same three notes playing on a loop... honestly the only reason why I bought this in the first place was because of the previously mentioned stand-out games, but everything else on this gaming device is pretty much garbage.... save your money for something more worthwhile

Instead of buyer beware I would say buyer be aware. In the past these gaming sets for Data East haven't been 100% truthful about the rooms. While they are Data East games, many of the titles I've played were ROMs from the NES version not the arcade. All the other games are usually random clones of more popular games out there. Some work, some are bizarre. If you're still reading this and you're okay with that...you'll have a good time! But if you are looking forward to playing pixel perfect arcade renditions of Joe and Mac Caveman Ninja...you may be disappointed.
