The Latitude 3520 is not listed on this document so I'm not sure if there is a supported Dell stylus for your laptop.

This pen is compatible with the Dell XPS 15 (9575) 2-in-1 and the Dell XPS 13 (7390) 2-in-1.

Will this work with latitude 5290?

I would expect so. Dell says it is compatible with the Latitude 5289 2-in-1. I use it with a 7390 w-in-1 with no problems.
