Perfect size mat to sit underneath my old, yet still formidable, KA mixer. The mixer stays on the mat whilst the mat enables the mixer to slide along the countertop. It's one of the must-have kitchen staples, in my opinion.

This fits perfectly under the mixer. Can't even see it. Lets me move the mixer easily. Very happy with this mat. The cord holders. Did not use them, as them seemed pretty worthless. May be able to find a use for them somewhere, but not useable on my lift bowl KitchenAid. Would recommend the mat.

This mat works well for my heavy Kitchen Aide mixer and is the perfect size. It is durable and holds up to sliding easily on my counter top without any sound. It is thick enough to protect my counter but yet is not bulky. It is easy to wash in the sink and dries fast. The cord wrap is a great idea but the adhesive doesn’t last.

I just received this mat. I was skeptical even though the reviews are great. My skepticism ended when I tried it. I placed it under my KitchenAid mixer and it slides beautifully just like in the videos. I definitely recommend this slider mat.

This makes the heavy mixer so much easier to move! It helps the mixer easily glide along the countertop and I like that there are NO glider 'buttons' on the bottom of this mat sliding over my granite counter. This is a piece of smooth material that is smooth on the bottom so that it slides easily, and the top has a 'rubberized' surface that securely holds the mixer in place. The weight of the mixer keeps the mat from bunching up as it slides...I just guide the mixer with my hands on it to pull it into workspace and to push it back into its corner for storage. The size of the sliding mat is a bit larger than the 'footprint' of the Kitchenaid Artisan Mini Plus 3.5-Qt. mixer (the description says it fits Kitchenaid 4.5-5 Qt), but as you can see, from the photo it is a good enough fit. There is very little area exposed at the front and along the sides, with most of the 'excess' size at the back (where there is less likely a chance of spills, etc. anyway). The mat is easy to wipe off and easy to remove from beneath the mixer if a more thorough cleaning is necessary. This came with two "accessories" which are 'cord wraps' (this seemed to baffle several other purchasers of this item, based on their item reviews). I attached one at the back of my mixer, pressed it firmly into place, and then let it sit for about an hour before I wrapped the mixer cord around it. It seems to be holding on just fine--I just wrap the cord loosely around it and tuck the plug end among the cord (see photo) to keep it nice and neat. It's convenient to have a way to keep the cord out of the way and yet easily can be unwound as much as needed (my mixer is close to a plug, so I don't need to unwrap the whole cord). I'm very glad I researched for a sliding mat and chose this one. I'm very happy with it and would recommend this to anyone in need of a way to easily maneuver their mixer (or ANY appliance, really) across/around the counter top without scratching. The cord wraps are an added bonus...I'd gladly pay this price for the mat alone.
