The official website only mentions the ringer volume.** A: on the bottom base of the phone is a large bell and a small bell, you switch between the bells for volume the larger bell is louder. but i have had the phone for a couple of years and it is not very good on volume and i have a constent buzzing on the phone line. **Q: Is anyone able to tell me the weight of this thing, incl. base, please?** A: You are lucky, the weight is 440g. I hope this helps, thank you and kind regards. **Q: Is the handset fed from the station mount or from main line junction?** A: This is a line-connected phone set. It has to be plugged in to a telephone line in a wall. You can have more than one socket as long as an engineer links up all the cables. It is like any landline phone. You must have one telephone line but can plug in multi sets in different rooms as long as you have a socket linked-up. This is better than cordless phones which has to be charged to the telephone line and is not as clear and reliable as landline units. The Binatone Trend 3 shown is by my bedside. It has a loud ring and will wake the dead! Ha! Ha! I sleep soundly and need one! All your other phones in the house - cordless or landline - will also ring from all their sources. You cannot miss a call! ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great little phone for the money *by E***Y on 19 February 2013* I bought this with specific purpsose for work in mind but plans changed and it sat gathering dust for a few weeks on the shelf. It did however prove itself a few weeks later.My home phone system is cordless with multiple docking stations - wonderful technology that I thought far superior to any little 'plug in phone' I choose to run on metered elecetricity; around the time for its monthly topup it just stopped - dead - shut off everything - because I hadn't been paying attention and hadn't noticed the warning tone. No elcetric = No phone.I usally top up via phone/computer but i couldn't buy electric because i didn't HAVE electric !!! Cue smug smile from the little silver binatone phone - I plugged it directly into a wall socket, did what needed done and unplugged it and tucked it back on the shelf. It took up so little room. Yes this is a basic low budget phone but it is nicely designed and practical. Sound quality during the calls was good. I imagine it would work well wall mounted.This is a perfect phone for people who rely on wireless/docked systems - you never know for whatever reason you will lose electricity and it pays to have a backup. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ But in all other respects it's a good telephone and excellent value *by M***. on 23 April 2018* Further to my previous review, I've found an error in the instructions supplied with the 'phone in the section on storing numbers. As printed, the instructions don't work. I've used the procedure :1. Press 'Store'. 2. Enter the desired telephone number. 3. Press the desired memory location button. 4. Press the 'Store' button. This works! The manufacturer's version has the second 'Press Store' before 'Press the desired memory location' and this does NOT work!But in all other respects it's a good telephone and excellent value. I'd recommend it. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Basic phone is Ok, but cables are a bit short and it's not white as shown in the picture!! *by S***H on 22 January 2016* This phone is an Ok product, but both the cable to the base unit and the coiled lead between the handset and base unit are quite a bit shorter than my last phone, to the point that I've taken off the cables that came with this phone and swapped them with the ones on my old phone (which are black). Also, the picture shown in the advert is clearly white, whilst the actual phone is silver (which I know it says at the end of the description, but I didn't notice).
