After initially spending a few weeks battling on Halo and Black Ops, I tried Forza, and after 3 months I haven't played any of the other games since! This game really does get you in the 'just one more race' mood, and many mornings I've totally knackered from playing it long into the night.Good Points:The physics and graphics are spot on. Crashes and damage can be fairly realistic, although not totally 'real life'. Car handling does feel in line with the characteristics and set up of each car. For the best experience get a high end steering wheel and pedals controller.Car Line up. Having just dowloaded the Porsche DLC pack, there's more or less a complete line-up. Note some cars are only available via DLC typically costing about £2.00 for an individual car or £6 for 5. You don't need to buy these to be successful in races though.Progression through the offline mode is well structured with interesting cars and tracks, and the ability to build up points to buy new cars quite quickly. I've bought all the cars I lusted after as a kid growing up - all the 'Group B' rally cars from the 80s, and track cars like the Radical.Bad points:Not many. Being picky I'd say that the online networking could be better - about 1 in 10 online multi-player games fails to launch, so you can end up hanging around in lobbies for a while, and games can take a while to load. My broadband is rubbish, so this could be my end, but I don't get the same inconsistency on other games.Online player behaviour. Most online races will start with an almighty pile-up on the first couple of corners, and it's really pot luck where you end up. After you get going, quite a few players see it as an opportunity to be an idiot and barge people off the road to get ahead. There's no penalty system for people who purposefully ram others off the road, usually by not braking and ramming into you from behind to slow themselves down, which will shove you off the track. You will end up rage-quitting frequently. You can vote to kick players out of a lobby, but this system doesn't change behaviours in the game. A red/black flag system in the actual race for poor driving would be more effective, and to encourage clean racing. Obviously accidents will happen, but a lot of people behave like jerks.Anyway, the negatives are far out-weighed by the positives. This is probably the best racing game out there at the moment. It gets the balance between realism and playability spot on, and you will have many hours of fun with it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Step in the right direction *by C***7 on 5 October 2015* A real step in the right direction - following the disappointing lack of tracks that Forza 5 had (even though I bought the Xbox One for this game) brings a similar experience with more tracks, more cars and more interesting single player playability! The showcase events certainly bring out some of last years Forza Horizon 2 aspects.The multiplayer racing now exapnds to 24 player racing too. The introduction of wet weather and night racing is good but also disappointing. Unlike Forza Horizon 2 the weather and night time modes are not dynamic, they're simply on or off with no transition. I wanted to have a this years ago back in Forza 3 when Circuit De Le Sarthe (Le Mans) was available. For the fact FH2 can do it why can't this?I have enjoyed playing this that much I have invested in a racing wheel, pedals and gear shifter too. This has really got me engaged to the degree that within 18 days of playing I have more Forza hub score than in Forza 5 or Forza Horizon 2. Best racer on the Xbox One without shadow of a doubt! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The best but...... *by A***R on 10 October 2015* Still not as good as the original forza on the original xbox. Back then the only thing missing was the weather and night racing and we've had that for a while now in pgr and the likes. This game has beautiful handling and is a pleasure to drive(play) however even though I now don't use the racing line and use manual gears on highly skilled settings I do sometimes feel sedated or stressed. The problems with this is that if i lower the difficulty one notch I win every race by a mile and if I raise it I struggle with the top three and indeed feels like a three horse race. Second the multiplayer has always been broken. No matter what the collision I always come of worse and its just not consistent with my career form. Wether this is a matchmaking issue or not I dont know and the tracks are the same every game with the odd exception.
